Every child wishes for a special gift during the holidays. That’s why students and staff at our school helped make the season magical for local children in need. We collected gifts for each child to donate to Hannah’s Treasure Chest, a local non-profit that provides clothing, baby equipment, books, hygiene items and more to families through social service agencies.
Primrose families, teachers and staff chose the name of a child from “giving trees” in our school. Each gift was based on the child’s age and specific needs. Thanks to the generosity of all who participated, we collected more than 200 gifts – enough for 50 children to receive four presents each (two necessities and two wishes).
At Primrose, we help children experience the joy of giving and model character traits like compassion and generosity every day in our classrooms. We’re deeply thankful to everyone who took part in the gift collection, helping us make a difference for children in need this holiday season.
