    Morghan Bills-Acord

    Director

My name is Morghan Bills-Acord, and I am very excited to join the Primrose School of Lubbock South family as Director!

I grew up here in Lubbock! I attended Waters Elementary before moving up to Evans Middle School and finally graduating as a Monterey Plainsmen in May of 2012. After graduation I moved to Austin TX to attend St. Edwards University. While attending St. Ed’s I was a part-time nanny before being introduced to my first early childcare center.

After graduating in 2016 I knew working with children was something I wanted to pursue. I was hired as an early preschool teacher for a new Primrose School opening in Dripping Springs TX. This is where I spent my next two years. My time there as Early Preschool and Preschool Pathways teacher showed me the impact a teacher can have on the lives of their students.

Looking to further my career, I eventually took a position in management at another school located in Lakeway TX. The skills and perspective that I gained there have taught me important lessons about being a member of the administration team.

I am so excited to return to Lubbock and be near family and friends! I hope to help make Primrose a positive, comforting and active learning environment for both students and staff.

I can’t wait to meet you!

  • Marjorie Tabor, Assistant Director

    Marjorie Tabor

    Assistant Director

My name is Marjorie Tabor and I have loved being a part of the Primrose School of Lubbock South family as Assistant Director!

I was born in Encinitas, California but grew up in Hobbs, New Mexico. I attended New Mexico Junior College and obtained my Associates of Arts. After NMJC, I moved to San Diego where I began working with adults with autism as a life coach at an assisted care facility for 2 years. San Diego is also where my husband and I got married before we moved back down here to Lubbock to start our family.

In 2020, I had my daughter and stayed home with her until I was ready to go back to work. One of the best parts of my job, she attends this school! Here I have been able to see, first hand, the Primrose values being put in place. She has grown and learned so much since being here.

I am so excited to help make Primrose a positive, comforting and active learning environment for both students and staff and I can’t wait to meet you!

  • McKenna Brameyer, Education Coach & Head of Media and Marketing

    McKenna Brameyer

Education Coach & Head of Media and Marketing

My name is McKenna Brameyer and I am loving being a part of the Primrose School of Lubbock South family as Education Coach and Head of Media and Marketing.

I was raised down south in Houston, Texas! I received my Associates of Science from Lone Star College and am continuing my education through the University of Houston, virtually. (Go Coogs!)

In high school I was a nanny for a family of three, ages 2, 5, & 7, and after spending time with them, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in education. In 2016, I started my journey with Primrose at a school in the Houston area. There I was a teacher in the Young Toddler and Early Preschool classroom before finding my "home" in the Toddler classroom. I worked at that location for 3 years before helping the owners open a second location and joined that school as a part of the Leadership team for another year.

When it came time to leave Houston and move to Lubbock, I was elated to find out a Primrose was opening! I started a week after this school opened as a floater then the Preschool teacher, before reaching my final destination as Education Coach.

During my time at Primrose, I discovered my passion for the Balanced Learning curriculum and realized there is no better option for early childhood education than Primrose. That has been my driving force and motivation for everything I do and I look forward to helping implement that with staff as well as show parents that we really are; the best in the West!

  • Stevee Marez, Education Coordinator

    Stevee Marez

    Education Coordinator

My name is Stevee Marez and I am so excited to have joined the Primrose School of Lubbock South family as Education Coordinator!

I was born and raised in Clovis, New Mexico and am currently going to school for my Bachelors in Education.

I have previously worked with different age groups at a different childcare facility in Lubbock but in 2022, I started my journey here at Primrose as the Preschool 1 lead teacher. I soon discovered that Primrose holds the highest standards of early childhood education, and also realized just how important purposeful play and nurturing guidance is during these early childhood years. I learned so much while being the preschool teacher which will aid me in my new adventure as Education Coordinator!

I look forward to helping teachers impliment our enriched curriculum and to be a part of the students educational growth!

Welcome to the Primrose School of Lubbock South!

I am Jaye Lynn Andrus, your local Primrose School of Lubbock South Franchise Owner! My husband, Jeremy Andrus, and I have two young children that will also be attending Primrose. We are both Texas Tech graduates!I received my degree in Early Childhood Education and was a teacher in the elementary school setting for many years.Jeremy is the owner of a family roofing company in town that has been in business for over 35 years.

Following graduation, my career began at a Primrose School. I also taught Kindergarten in public school for several years. After moving to Lubbock I continued to work part time as a tutor for a public school in town. I left education almost six years ago and thought I was ready for a different career path. I sampled a few different things, but something kept tugging at my heart and I would realize from time to time, I miss the children and I miss teaching! After becoming a mom in 2016, I quickly realized the HUGE need for quality childcare in Lubbock, Texas. There was nothing in town quite like a Primrose School.I woke in the middle of the night with the sudden urge that Lubbock NEEDS a Primrose School. When it comes to early childhood education my standards have always been high. Therefore, Primrose has always stood out to me, and over all the years of teaching I continued to carry on some of those core foundations I learned during my time at Primrose School. At Primrose School of Lubbock South, we will use an exclusive Balanced Learning™ approach to forge a path to a brighter future and a lifelong love of learning for all children. Children will also learn the foundational skills to develop Active Minds, Healthy Bodies and Happy Hearts®.

Who children become is as important as what they know is the belief at the core of our Balanced Learning™ approach. Our exclusive early learning approach balances purposeful play with nurturing guidance from teachers to encourage curiosity, creativity, confidence, and compassion. We deliver more than a curriculum; it’s a life-changing early learning experience for children and their families.

I am excited to meet you and your family.
