Primrose School would love to meet your family.
Contact UsOwners Jon & Kim Bourgain are busy professionals who understand the demands placed on parents today and the importance of balancing work and family time. Since opening the school in 2007, they have strived to create and maintain a safe, nurturing environment for children where they can experience the joy of learning. Prior to working with Primrose, Jon owned a video production and media company and Kim was a medical sales representative. Their passion for children and education, combined with their business experience led them to Primrose. They appreciated that Primrose had been in business since 1982, had a proven Balanced Learning curriculum and was truly a school, not a daycare. As parents of two children of their own, Jared and Emma, they understand what it takes to be parents in today's world and treat the children in the school as their own. Their love and commitment to their students is evident as they interact in the classrooms and hallways each day. According to Kim, "All parents want the best for their children and we strive to create a special place that we would have wanted our own children to be when they were young. We take very seriously the decision parents have made to entrust their precious ones to our care and we strive each day to give them the best possible experience in a family atmosphere. We see first hand the children in our preschool, pre-kindergarten and private kindergarten programs learning and having fun every day!" Kim and Jon would love for you to contact them or stop by the school to learn more about the Primrose School of Longmont and the difference it can make for your family!

Fostering a sense of belongingness has been a part of every day at Primrose for the past 40 years, and we’re excited to invite all families, from Primrose and beyond, to join in as we celebrate the annual National Day of Belongingness on September 29.
Try these easy at-home activities to promote character and social growth that will help children celebrate their similarities and differences, and help create connections with others.
To better meet the individual needs of every child, we’re proud to implement Ages & Stages Questionnaires® (ASQ®-3 and ASQ®:SE-2) in Primrose schools across the country.
Each Primrose school is held to high standards of safety and cleanliness while maintaining a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
Please be aware that Primrose School of Longmont requires all enrolled children to be current with vaccinations per AAP guidelines or to be on a pediatrician approved CDC catch-up schedule. To protect the health and well-being of the children in our care, we do not offer admission to children who are not current with their immunizations - even if parents have filed an exemption with the state of Colorado on their behalf.
There’s no question that parents want their preschoolers to grasp the basics of colors, numbers and letters to foster a lifetime of learning.
During inclement weather, we will make every reasonable effort to open the school, however, the safety of our families, students and staff will be our prime consideration for closing the school.
It might seem odd to think about your preschooler exploring data analysis and algebra.
