  • Ms. Julia, Program Director

    Ms. Julia

    Program Director

    Ms. Julia graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with a bachelor's degree in vocal music education. After graduating from college Ms. Julia moved to Austin Texas where she started work at her first Primrose as an early preschool teacher. When it was time to move back to Missouri, she knew she had to find another Primrose. Ms. Julia feels that there is something very special about the Primrose Way. The Balanced Learning Curriculum is very dear to her, and she loves being able to teach the teachers how to implement it. A fun fact about Ms. Julia is that she sings Karaoke in the car everyday and loves to bake and ice sugar cookies! 

  • Ms. Livi, Operations Director

    Operations Director

    Ms. Livi joined our team in 2022 as the EPS teacher and has since moved into the Program Coordinator position. Ms. Livi has over 12 years of experience in childcare with various ages. She is always looking for new ways to learn and always strives to provide top-tier care to every child. Ms. Livi works to maintain the dignity of each child and promotes resiliency in both staff and students. She adores connecting with all our students and watching them grow! Mrs. Livi is married and has an 8 year old son. Durinf her spare time, she loves crafting, sewing and gardening, along her fiesty cat, Privy. 

  • Ms. Abbi, Admissions and Recruiting Director

    Ms. Abbi

    Admissions and Recruiting Director

    Ms. Abbi is a recent graduate from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a bachelors' degree in Human Development and Family Science. She also attended St. Louis Community College during her first two years of college using an A+ Scholarship. Throughout college Ms. Abbi worked at MU's Adventure Club as a before/after teacher for the kindergarten and first grade class of 20 students. She also worked for the CARE program which helped at-risk youth attain job placements. Ms. Abbi loves being able to teach children how to emotionally regulate and develop emphatic skills towards peers. A fun fact about Ms. Abbi is that she still has 2 of her baby teeth and they just won't budge!

  • Ms. Sarah, Education Director

    Education Director

    Ms. Sarah has a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and taught fourth grade for 6 years. She has also nannied for over 2 years and coached high school volleyball. Seeing her students’ progress over the units is what keeps Ms. Sarah passionate and motivated about teaching! She loves when a student reaches a new milestone, and always takes time to celebrate their little wins. A fun fact about Ms. Sarah is that she played volleyball in college for 2 years!

  • Mr. Ryan, Chef

    Chef

    Mr. Ryan is the Executive Chef at the Primrose School of Liberty. He has over 20 years of experience in the food industry, and has worked with well-known institutions. Born in Waverly, Iowa, Ryan loves camping, hiking, frisbee golf and is a fantastic bowler! Ryan is passionate about his job because he strives to show guidance to young people and feels the most valued when he is able to take care of others! A fun fact about Ryan is that he considers himself a funny Pirate born 200 years too late! 

  • Ms. Melissa, Toddler Teacher

    Toddler Teacher

    Ms. Melissa has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Rockhurst University. She has a 7-year-old daughter and a cat named Maow. She loves working with children because she gets to help them grow and become an individual. She loves learning each child’s quirks, how honest they are and the funny things they come up with. A fun fact about Ms. Melissa is that she believes that basset hounds are the best and that “I want a hippopotamus for Christmas” is the best Christmas song!

    Ms. Allyson joined our team in May 2023. She has been in childcare for over 4 years, and comes to us from our sister school in Midtown, where she taught in the wonder program too. Ms. Allyson graduated from the University of with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry. She loves watching children learn and grow! A fun fact about Ms. Allyson is that she was once bitten by a penguin!

    Ms. Abigail worked and managed the Aqua-Tots Schools for several years before joining our Primrose Liberty team this summer. She brings such a wealth of knowledge and warmth to our Infants, having been around toddlers for many years. Mrs. Abigail is newly married and enjoys spending time with her husband. A fun fact about Ms. Abigail is she has one of the most extensive earrings collection ever, so we will be adding more spirit days to our calendar to accomodate her wearing those jewels! 

  • Ms. Ursula, Early Preschool Teacher

    Early Preschool Teacher

    Ms. Ursula is from the South Pacific Islands. She has been in childcare for over 24 years. Ms. Ursula is a fun-loving teacher once you get to know her, and she loves kids and seeing them grow. You can find Ms. Ursula on the weekends camping and fishing. A fun fact about Ms. Ursula is she loves to make her friends laugh and thinks laughter is the best medicine anyone can have!

  • Ms. Wafa, Infant Teacher

    Ms. Wafa has 3 kids whom she shares love and joy with. She loves to extend this love to the children within her care at Primrose. She has a bachelor's degree in law from Jerusalem University. Ms. Wafa has many hobbies and loves swimming and reading romantic stories. She also wants you to know that she loves her 4 cats!

  • Ms. Morgan, Venture Program Teacher

    Venture Program Teacher

    Ms. Morgan joined our Primrose Liberty team in 2022. She has worn several hats since being with us and is truly passionate about childcare and enjoys helping the pre-k students learn and express themselves. Ms. Morgan attended the University of Kansas and would like to be an elementary teacher.A fun fact about Ms. Morgan is that she comes from a very large family with 3 brothers and 3 sisters, and lots of nieces and nephews. During her free time, she loves reading and spending time with her son and extended family!.

    Infant Teacher

    Mrs. Eman was born and raised in a big family with four sisters and six brothers! She completed her associate's degree in Arabic Language Education in 1992 and in 1998 she moved to the USA! She is the mother of 3 boys whom she loves very much. Ms. Eman loves to teach her students and is passionate about their growth and development!

    Ms. Ruthie attended college at the University of Missouri-Kansas and graduated with her bachelor’s in psychology. She is a first-generation college student and is now pursuing her master’s in social work at KU to become a children’s therapist. Ms. Ruthie worked at an early learning center in a Domestic-Violence shelter Kansas City. She is passionate about teaching her students and implementing the curriculum. Ms. Ruthie builds wonderful connections with parents and students alike!

    Toddler Teacher

    Ms. Fouzia was born and raised in M'sila Algeria. She moved here to the US with her family. She worked at the university of M'sila in the student affairs office. Ms. Fouzia likes hanging out with her family and friends and loves cooking for them. She loves the kids and taking care of them just like her own four adult kids! You should see the things Ms. Fouzia can bake, they are absolute perfection!

    Mrs. Zahar joined our Primrose School in September 2021 as the Infant/Toddler Teacher. Prior to moving to Kansas City, Mrs. Zahar volunteered at various centers near the Univerity of Missouri, taught math to high-school students and even assisted in the semiconductor processing lab of the university. Ms. Zahar graduated from the Univeristy of Mosul with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science in 2008. Mrs. Zahar is married, has three wonderful kids, and loves to follow her children's soccer activities, while needlingworking for her family and friends.

    Early Preschool Teacher

    Ms. Jensen was born in Leon Iowa. She loves to spend time with her family and friends, and you can often find her in the book department of any store she's in. Jensen relates the most our Primrose Friend OG, because he too is an avid reader. Jensen has worked for many years in childcare centers and babysitting and has always had a passion for childcare. She is passionate about her job because she loves to see the children learn, grow, and express themselves! Jensen feels the most valued when she is apart of a team, and is able to assist her peers. A fun fact about Ms. Jensen is that she can sing her ABCs backwards!

    Ms. Katie has been working iwth children since she was 10 years old. She loves to teach because it gives her good insight into the children and herself. She is passionate about teaching because she loves to be a part of the bigger picture and to see the children learn, especially when she is the one who is helping them to learn! She knows that she is in charge of giving many children a lifetime of skills and knowledge that they will carry with them for the rest of their lives, even though she has such a short amount of time to do so.

    Ms. Rose has been working with children for her whole life. Working with children brings Ms. Rose so much joy, because she loves seeing what makes each child unique and to get to know them on an individual level! She loves how smart and intuitive children are. A fun fact about Ms. Rose is that she loves to read!

    Ms. Alex has worked with children for over 3 years. She had an internship at compass elementary school as an art teacher, after graduating from Northwest Missouri State University with a degree in Human Services. Alex's goal is to become a child therapist because she loves to work with children and watch them grow. Her favorite part of the day is when she walks into her class and sees her children run to hug her! A fun fact about Ms. Alex is that she has a cat named Bush's Best Baked Beans!

    Ms. Awatef loves to see the children growing up happy and healthy, and lives to hear them laughing. Her favorite part of the day is when she gets hugs from the children, because they give her so much positive energy which she loves to give back to them in turn. Ms. Awatef is gentle, caring and compassionate to each of her children.

    Ms. Natalie is one of seven kids. For as long as she can remember she has been helping to raise her younger siblings, neices and nephews. She has always loved children but it wasn't until she started working as a private tutor that she gained her burning passion for education and working with children. She loves seeing children explore, helping them to learn and grow and watching the gears turning in their heads. She loves when they encounter a problem, and they work to solve them. Her favorite part about working with children is that she gets to be a part, even just a small part, of a child's growht and development!

    Early Preschool Teacher

    Ms. Sam has been working in childcare for multiple years now, and is currently enrolled in college to get her early education degree. This is her first time working at a Primrose, but she has been a lead teacher in past daycares before. Sam loves coming into work everyday and watching the children grow up and helping them learn new consepts. Ms. Sam loves to find unique crafts and activities to keep the children engaged with the lesson, and loves to find new ways for students to understand what is being taught. Her goal as the EPS teacher is to help each child find ways to master what needs to be taught, and wants to create a happy and supportive enviornment.
