    My name is Courtney. I was born and raised in Mobile, AL. I graduated from Auburn University in 2011 with a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies. I have worked in the public school system and 2 separate live-in facilities for girls. My husband, Corey, and I were House Parents at the Sheriff's Girl's Ranch until we moved to Birmingham. I attend a local Church and enjoy painting, DIY projects, and spending time outdoors. I have a lot of fun working with kids and seeing the things they come up with!     Hello! My name is Kat! I moved here from Illinois in August 2020. Back in Illinois, I attended Illinois State University and received my B.S. in Education. After graduating, I taught middle school science and math for three years. I also worked as a high school cheerleading coach during that time. I decided to take a break from teaching, and was the director at a facility called Kids Spot. I was their camp director, and competitive All-Star Cheer Director. After having my daughter, my family and I decided to move South to raise her near her cousins! My daughter, Audrey, attends Primrose, and I love having her in the same building as me.     Hi there! My name is Bobbie and I'm originally grew up in the Maryland/Pennsylvania area. From there, I went into the Air Force, and where I served for over four years. That is also where I met my husband of over thirty years. We lived in both Georgia and Alabama. In Georgia we had our first and only daughter, Leslie Taylor. Leslie is attending college at Kennesaw and I have since moved back to Alabama.
    I enjoy working with all the staff at Primrose School and blessed to spend time with everyone's children!

    Hello, I'm Jo! I am a retired school teacher, a mother, and a grandmother. Having taught third, fourth, and fifth grades for thirty-two years I can provide a tremendous level of expertise and experience.

    I am an avid traveler and have visited at least forty-two states. With a love for the outdoors, I will often be found working in my yard. Reading is also a favorite past-time. My favorite genre is mystery and suspense and the authors that keep me guessing are James Patterson, Dean Koontz, and Walter Mosley.

    I love crosswords, and in the past three months alone, I have completed over 1,500 puzzles that are three starred. I look forward to continuing my love for education here at Primrose School at Liberty Park.

    Hello my name is Leah! I was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. I have an older sister and brother. I attended Clay Elementary, Clay-Chalkville Middle School, and Clay-Chalkville Highschool. I went to the University of Alabama Birmingham and also Jefferson State Community College. I received my certificate of child education and can't wait to put it to use here at Primrose School at Liberty Park.

    Hi my name is Connie. I am one of the current Preschool teachers here at Primrose School at Liberty Park. I have been a part of the Primrose School at Liberty Park team for over three years. My work history includes over 20 years of experience helping children grow and learn. Previously I worked for the Birmingham City Schools as a Paraprofessional for Special Education. I grew up and currently reside in the Birmingham area. I hope to continue my love for education and have your children also share that love!

    My name is Joy. I'm a wife, a singer, pet lover, writer, teacher, and youngest of three. I enjoy and love spending time with my family all the time because they are my strength. My favorite color is blue and turquoise, and I love polka dots. My favorite food is pasta and fish. My favorite restaurant is Olive Garden.

    I was a Theatre Major and enjoy performing and bringing things to life. I just love people and life!

    I love to laugh and make everyone around me laugh and smile so they can have a great day. I hope to be able to do that for your children while also providing them an education!

I plan to further my education focusing on marriage and family therapy. I have always had a passion for helping people no matter how big or small. Being the family babysitter, I have always loved children and cannot wait for the fun learning experience.

    Hello, I am Christy. I am a single mom to an amazing boy. I have recently earned an Associate's degree in Child Development from Jefferson State. I am pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Early Education as well. I love children and watching them grow! have worked in our Young Infant room, and currently working with our Early Preschool Children. I find it deeply gratifying to witness a child master a new skill knowing I played an instrumental part in their learning process.

After caring for children in my family for over a decade, I am so excited to be working at Primrose school at Liberty Park! I love caring for these sweet children everyday, as well as having a job where I can apply all the knowledge I have gained through my Associates of Arts in Psychology from Lawson State University. I am currently working towards my Bachelors of Science in Psychology. I am grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside you on your parenting journey and help you crush your goals for your child!

    Hi, I'm Miss Merritt! I grew up in the Birmingham area and have been around children my whole life. Before coming to Primrose, I worked as a substitute teacher in Shelby and Jefferson County Schools for grades K-12. When I'm not at Primrose, I enjoy reading, watching movies, making art, and playing with my dog! My favorite thing about working at Primrose is being able to see the children's smiling faces each day!

    Hi! My name is Gabrielle, and I am 20 years old. I grew up in Alabama, and currently live in the Trussville area. I am about to begin my Junior year at UAB and am pursuing a degree in Kinesiology to hopefully become an athletic trainer. When I am not working or studying, I really enjoy being with my family and pets! My father is with the Vestavia police, and my mother does child nutrition in the Trussville city schools.

    Although this is my first time working in childcare, I am so excited for this opportunity and getting to know all the children.

    Hello my name is Stephanie. I've been working with children of all ages since I was 14 years old. My experience with children have been in churches, daycares, and babysitting for families. I have always loved children and knew at a young age that I wanted to work with children. Before working at Primrose School at Liberty Park, I was in the U.S. Army. I have 4 other siblings, and have lived in Hoover with them most my life!

While there, I majored in Criminal Justice and hope to be in Law School in the next year to be an attorney. I am the youngest of my siblings. I have a French Bulldog named Marie Jean who I love so much! I am so excited to be a part of the infant team here at Primrose School at Liberty Park!

    Bill and Gayla Clark originally chose to live in the South to be near their grandchildren, two of whom were thriving at Primrose School of Sprayberry, in Marietta, Georgia. When the eldest entered elementary school, the Clarks witnessed first-hand the advantage he had from attending Primrose. He was more than ready for Kindergarten! Inspired by this, Bill and Gayla recognized the importance of and the opportunity for bringing the Primrose Balanced Learning environment to families in the Liberty Park area. Bill and Gayla are excited to partner with parents in the Birmingham area and are committed to the Primrose School mission: To deliver innovative, high-quality early childhood education and child care services to the community.
