I have been married for over 30 years and I have three grown children, three grandchildren, two dogs, and five turtles. I have over 20 years experience working in the daycare industry with 17 of those years being a director. I have a BBA in Marketing from the University of Houston, Clear Lake and I am certified in EC-6th grade. I have worked at Primrose for the Arthur's for 7 years now and I am looking forward to continue working at Primrose for years to come. When I first came to Primrose, I was extremely impressed with the curriculum and programing. It was so much more than a daycare! I could not be more proud to provide such an amazing program for children in our community!
My name is Erika Weatherbee and I am beyond excited to be the Director for Primrose School of League City at Victory Lakes! I am honored to be able to serve your families and would like to tell you a little about my own family.
I was born and raised in Oklahoma and graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2014 with a BS in Human Development and Family Science with an Option in Child and Family Services, GO POKES! My husband, Cole, and I are high school sweethearts and love exploring our surroundings and taking on a new food spot from time to time. Our little family (Cole, myself, and Quinn, our dog) recently grew by two feet with the addition of our son, Houston! (Now before you ask, we did NOT ever think we would move to the Houston area. 😉) He is full of smiles and fills our hearts with JOY beyond measure. Cole is an Engineer for a general contractor which landed us here!
I have worked in the childcare setting for 13 years! My very first job was as a part time closer in a 3-year-old classroom, and I LOVED IT. I found a niche and have been in the field ever since. Cole and I moved to Round Rock in 2018 and I became involved with the Primrose Schools. I served as the Curriculum Coordinator and Director of Operations while there. My team and I built a fantastic school which made it very difficult to depart. I had officially sipped the Primrose Kool-Aid. Upon news of a move, I went on a Primrose search to continue the path that I had started in Round Rock.
I enjoy motivating people, building relationships, and creating an environment where teachers become families and the school becomes a second home. Staff morale and education are huge driving forces behind my fire. You may find me often in classrooms hugging, kissing boo-boos, and reading books to my Prim kids. I cannot wait to learn more about both schools, create bonds with families, and continue my growth as an educator and administrator! Thank you for giving me this opportunity!
Hello, my name is Ms. Kelley! I have worked in Childcare for 8 years, fresh out of high school to moving now as the Assistant Director here at Primrose Victory Lakes. We also have a puppy his name is Watson, we rescued him about 2 years ago. I spend most of my time with our family, playing outdoors with my son, and online shopping.
Hello Primrose Families, my name is Kelsey Campos and my career with Primrose Schools started in 2015 as a floating teacher where I spent time in every classroom. I then moved into leadership where I took over more operational aspects of the school and enjoyed learning more about Primrose! I have worked with children of all ages and believe that every child learns differently. In 2020, I obtained my AAS in Child Development and Early Childhood Education and in 2022 I obtained my BAS in Interdisciplinary Studies with a major in Early Childhood Education. My goal as your Education Coach is to provide educators and families with a path for their students and children to succeed. In my spare time I enjoy bike riding, eating BBQ, and dog park visits with my husband Andrew and our dachshund Winston.
