These are Jesus Rayas, Andrea Asbun and Soleil Luna Asbun. They are pretty unconventional when it comes to traditions. Jesus was born and raised in Mexico and moved to the United States to study. Andrea is Middle Eastern but born and raised in Bolivia. She moved to the United States to study Art. Jesus now works as a school administrator and Andrea as a School Counselor after teaching art for many years. Two “Aliens” that found each other in a new world and decided to get “married” under the same tree of their first date picnic, with a guest list of one (a squirrel that was roaming around). Soleil Luna was born two years later and has literally brought the sun and the moon to their lives. Soleil has developed a love for dancing since she was able to sit up. She is full of joy and mischievous. She also enjoys art and taking just about anything apart like her dad. As a family they enjoy being silly, not taking life too seriously and finding the humor in just about anything that allows it. They are not fans of anything in particular other than to live and let live. Their household is not perfect, but they strive to embrace the imperfections.
When asked what they appreciate most about Primrose Lantana, they shared the authenticity of everyone that works there. They feel like the teachers Soleil has had so far have been co-parents and their guidance has helped so much. The staff in general is humble, real, caring and unassuming. Everyone is very friendly and personable. They couldn’t be happier to be part of the Primrose Lantana family!
