I am Caitlin Harris, Vice President of Operations of Primrose School at Lakewood Ranch.
I graduated from the University of Indianapolis with a Bachelor of Science in elementary education. I have spent more than fifteen years in the early education field both in the elementary school systems and child care facilities. I am a licensed director across multiple states including Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Florida and Louisiana. One of my favorite parts working with multiple schools is meeting and getting to know new families.
I am a proud mom in the Tampa Bay area to two sons, Ryker and Warrick. We spend a lot of time at the beach, reading and supporting our favorite sports teams - the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs. We maintain an active role in our neighborhood library and are just beginning the joys of Little League.
As a working parent that traveled extensively, I found that it was critical to have a child care experience that allowed me to relax knowing my children were well cared for in a healthy environment. Child care that meets all a parent’s expectations is not always readily available, but Primrose Schools is a dependable brand that upholds their quality reputation. My belief in their mission led me to oversee several of their locations in partnership with Early Foundations.
Because we believe who children become is as important as what they know, character development and life skills are as much a part of the Balanced Learning approach as intellectual, creative and physical development. Our exclusive early learning approach balances purposeful play with nurturing guidance from teachers to encourage curiosity, creativity, confidence and compassion. We deliver more than a curriculum; it’s a life-changing early learning experience for children and their families.
I am excited to meet you and your family!

Hello! I am Mrs. Mavi Batts and I am the Assistant Director at Primrose School at Lakewood Ranch Town Center. My love for working with children was cultivated at a young age by my mom, who's talent for teaching inspired many young minds, including my own. I was in awe of her enthusiasm and interactions with children, who's eyes would light up with her every word.
I enjoyed volunteering at my former middle school and began my teaching career at Primrose School as a Floater Teacher in October of 2012. Since starting at Primrose School, I have had the pleasure of working with and caring for the children and families in every program.
My love for children grew when I started a family of my own. I have three children and watching them grow is a beautiful and amazing experience and I am so blessed they too are a part of the Primrose family. Becoming a parent has given me a whole new perspective on early childhood development and has heightened my awareness of the trust parents put in us to provide the care they would for their children themselves while also providing their children with a safe and happy learning environment.
I take great pride in the work we all do here at Primrose and look forward to meeting you and your family!

My husband of twenty-three years, Matt, and I have three amazing children together. Michael 23, Allison 20, and Caleb 18. We have had the pleasure of traveling and living in many places including: Mississippi, South Carolina, the UK, Illinois, Missouri, and of course, Florida. I love spending time with my family, baking and painting.
I love supporting the teaching teams in our various programs throughout the school to ensure we are providing the highest quality care and education experience for our students and families at all times.
Hello! I am the Executive Director of Primrose School of Lakewood Ranch North and Primrose School of Lakewood Ranch Town Center . I work in partnership with the administration teams at each location to to ensure your child’s early educational experience sets a lifelong love of learning!
As a working mom, I know how important it is in when choosing the right childcare for your little ones. I love getting to see your children grow and master new skills, as well as getting to know your family.
I earned a Bachelor of Science degree from West Virginia Wesleyan College with a focus on Exercise Science. During my clinicals, I spent time at the local Child Development Center teaching them exercises and nutrition. It was then that I realized I had a passion for early childhood education and a natural connection with kids. I started my career in Early Childhood Education in 2015 and have earned my Child Development Associate Credential, Director’s Credential, and VPK Director’s Credentials. I relocated to the Bradenton area in 2021 with my husband, James, and our son Benny. Having been in the industry, it was important to make sure I found the right program for Benny to thrive. We were fortunate to find a home quickly with Primrose School and couldn’t be happier.
I take great pride in the work we all do here at Primrose Schools and genuinely believe in our mission that who children become is as important as what they know. I am here to help, to listen, and to make your experience at Primrose School one that will stay with you for a lifetime.
