Primrose School at Lakewood Ranch Town Center

Our Staff

  • Caitlin Harris

    Vice President of Operations

I am Caitlin Harris, Vice President of Operations of Primrose School at Lakewood Ranch.

I graduated from the University of Indianapolis with a Bachelor of Science in elementary education. I have spent more than fifteen years in the early education field both in the elementary school systems and child care facilities. I am a licensed director across multiple states including Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Florida and Louisiana. One of my favorite parts working with multiple schools is meeting and getting to know new families.

I am a proud mom in the Tampa Bay area to two sons, Ryker and Warrick. We spend a lot of time at the beach, reading and supporting our favorite sports teams - the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs. We maintain an active role in our neighborhood library and are just beginning the joys of Little League.

As a working parent that traveled extensively, I found that it was critical to have a child care experience that allowed me to relax knowing my children were well cared for in a healthy environment. Child care that meets all a parent’s expectations is not always readily available, but Primrose Schools is a dependable brand that upholds their quality reputation. My belief in their mission led me to oversee several of their locations in partnership with Early Foundations.

Because we believe who children become is as important as what they know, character development and life skills are as much a part of the Balanced Learning approach as intellectual, creative and physical development. Our exclusive early learning approach balances purposeful play with nurturing guidance from teachers to encourage curiosity, creativity, confidence and compassion. We deliver more than a curriculum; it’s a life-changing early learning experience for children and their families.

I am excited to meet you and your family!

  • Mrs. Robin Forrester, School Director

    Mrs. Robin Forrester

    School Director

Mrs. Forrester began her career in early childhood education twenty years ago while working with Easter Seals of Soutwest Florida. When her own children were young, she was convinced that working with young children was her calling! She worked as an Assistant Teacher and as her knowledge grew, so did her love for teaching. She earned her CDA and moved into a Lead Teacher position.

In that role she developed a passion for working with the children’s families and the other teachers, which lead to a position as an Assistant Director. Her well rounded experiences of being a parent, Assistant Teacher, Lead Teacher, and Assistant Director are invaluable in her role as a Director. She has hundreds of training hours in early childhood education, a Director Credential, and is a member of the local Child Care Apprenticeship Advisory committee at MTI. As our Primrose School Director she works hard to support, lead, and inspire others as they care for and teach our young children.

  • Mrs. Mavi Batts, Education Coach

    Mrs. Mavi Batts

    Education Coach

Hello! I am Mrs. Mavi Batts and I am the Education Coach at Primrose School at Lakewood Ranch Town Center. My love for working with children was cultivated at a young age by my mom, who's talent for teaching inspired many young minds, including my own. I was in awe of her enthusiasm and interactions with children, who's eyes would light up with her every word.

I enjoyed volunteering at my former middle school and began my teaching career at Primrose School as a Floater Teacher in October of 2012. Since starting at Primrose School, I have had the pleasure of working with and caring for the children and families in every program.

My love for children grew when I started a family of my own. I have three children and watching them grow is a beautiful and amazing experience and I am so blessed they too are a part of the Primrose family. Becoming a parent has given me a whole new perspective on early childhood development and has heightened my awareness of the trust parents put in us to provide the care they would for their children themselves while also providing their children with a safe and happy learning environment.

I take great pride in the work we all do here at Primrose and look forward to meeting you and your family!
