Information Og's Bountiful Book Drive 2023!

What an exciting Read Across America week! A big thank you to all of our parents who contributed to our Og’s Bountiful book drive.

Our school was fortunate enough to be able to donate 455 book total! Masonic Children’s Hospital was happy to receive some of our donations and share them with the patients they serve.

“Books donated to Masonic Childrens Hospital will go to the Family Resource Center (FRC), which is located in the main lobby of Masonic's and is open to all families/visitors, both inpatient and outpatient. The FRC is a space to help create normalcy when visiting the hospital, by providing a relaxing and fun space outside of hospital rooms and clinics, and offering therapeutic activities (books, gaming devices, nail kits, knitting, Family coffee hour). Patients and families can come down to read books in the FRC, bring them up to their rooms, or bring them to other hospital spaces like waiting rooms/lobbies. We also circulate books to patients through our book cart program, which holds books for all ages and helps bring resources up to patients and families on inpatient units who may not be able to utilize spaces like the FRC.”
