    Leadership Team

Hello! I’m Cassandra Dunn but please feel free to call me Cassie. I am part of the leadership team here at Primrose School at KU Med helping families navigate the registration and enrollment process at our school. I have over 15 years of experience in early childhood education. I studied at St Mary’s College where I received my Montessori teaching certificate. I am an area native and currently reside in Prairie Village with my husband, two children and two dogs. As the assistant director, I look forward to making valuable connections with all parents and child care providers. Being a parent myself, I understand the importance of communication. When I’m not working at Primrose you’ll find me hopefully doing something outdoors with my family, which is our favorite place to be. I enjoy gardening, going on family bike rides and walks and cooking. I’m so pleased to be a member of the Primrose family and can’t wait to meet you!

    Franchise Owners

Hello! We are the Sanjanwala family, longtime residents of the Kansas City area and the proud Owners of the Primrose School at KU Medical Center. We opened our first school, Primrose School of Overland Park, in March of 2013. We then opened our second school, Primrose School of North Olathe, in April of 2016. I am Shalin and will be overseeing the school at KUMC with my wife, Sunita

I completed my bachelor’s degree in engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, and received my master’s degree from the University of Kansas and I’ve worked in executive leadership in the Healthcare IT industry. Sunita attended the University of Michigan and has spent the past few years operating our Primrose School.

Family values have been a top priority for us, while we enjoyed our careers in the corporate world, we also wanted to pursue an endeavor that would teach our children the importance of family and community, and Primrose Schools gave us that opportunity. Our Primrose journey began when we sent our sons to the Primrose School of Leawood, which was the only school of its kind in the Kansas City area. We were amazed at the impact that Balanced Learning™ had on their intellectual, social and emotional development. When we noticed a lack of high-quality childcare options in the area, we decided to bring Primrose Schools to other families in Overland Park, Olathe and now the Kansas City area.

Primrose School at KU Medical Center is committed to upholding the highest standards in early childhood education and helping to lay the foundation necessary to help children succeed academically and in life. We strive to provide the best education for our own children, and we look forward to providing the KUMC community and surrounding area families with a quality, educational childcare experience that will positively impact their children for years to come!
