    Georgia P. Wiley

    Franchise Owner

Georgia Wiley is the proud owner of the Primrose School at Ironbridge Corner. Georgia and her family are longtime residents of Chesterfield County. Georgia has three children, twin sons Kalen and Breslin, and daughter Alexa.

Georgia received her Bachelor’s Degree from Old Dominion University and a Master’s Degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech. She spent 16 year at United Parcel Service in Operations and Engineering, and 10 years at Hewlett Packard as an Engineering Project Manager before deciding to pursue her dream of owning her own business.

For years the Wiley’s struggled to find quality care for their 3 children. So when Georgia started looking into opening a child care center, she knew exactly what she was looking for. She knew immediately Primrose was what she had been looking for her own children for all of those years.

“Primrose offers a Balanced Learning Curriculum. In addition, the programming offers social/emotional development, music, physical development, etc… As the owner, I am involved in the quality and execution of the schools programs on a daily basis. I recognize the importance of creating a safe, nurturing and healthy environment for the children. I also seek to create a work environment that allows our educators to excel in their passion for teaching young children, and the Primrose curriculum offers just that opportunity.

I love coming to the school every day and watching the children learn and grow. Hearing their laughter, watching them take their first steps, listening to the stages in their language development and watching them blossom into young people ready for the challenges of their world, is so rewarding. Now that the school has been open 9 years, I have watched many classes of Pre-K students graduate and confidently march off to Kindergarten after having enrolled them in the school as Infants.”
