Contact UsHello, my name is Jamie Keel and I am pleased to introduce myself as the Executive Director for the Primrose School of Atascocita, Primrose School at Crossroads Park, Primrose School of Copperfield, Primrose School of Greatwood, and Primrose School at Balmoral. I started my career in early childhood in 2009 and have worked with Primrose Schools since 2010. I graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications, however continued my education at the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas. It was at the University of St. Thomas where I completed my education coursework and obtained an early childhood through 6th grade teacher certification. I have experience as a Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten Lead Teacher as well as Leadership experience as both Assistant Director and School Director. My husband Adam and I have three amazing children who all attended Primrose. Primrose is more than a school for us; it is a part of our family! I am proud to say I get to work at the very best preschool for infant through kindergarten and after school care for the Northwest Houston, Northeast Houston, Jersey Village, Cypress, Sugar Land, and surrounding areas.

Hi, my name is Lindsey Griffin and I am pleased to introduce myself as the Regional Director for the Primrose School at Crossroads Park, Primrose School of Copperfield, and Primrose School of Greatwood. I started my career working in early childhood in 2010 and have worked with the Primrose Schools since 2012. I have an Associates Degree of Arts in Teaching from Lone Star College. While working in the Primrose Schools I have held many titles from Lead Teacher, Administrative Assistant, Assistant Director, Director, and now Regional Director. I enjoy coming into the schools each day to see smiling children learning new things each day as well as working hand in hand with our teachers and leadership teams to help them grow to become the best teachers and leaders of Houston in early childhood education.

Hi! My name is Jessica Nelson and I am excited to be part of the Leadership Team at The Primrose School of Greatwood. My passion for working with children and families began in college where I was drawn to study child development, parenting and adoption. After earning my Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from Auburn University, I wanted to learn more! I continued my education at Purdue University where I earned a Masters of Science in Child Development and Family Studies. I worked as a Family & Consumer Sciences Agent for UGA Cooperative Extension in Georgia and later a private adoption counselor in the Houston area. After taking some time to be a full-time mom, I found my way back to working, eager to benefit young children and their families. I began working at a local part-time parish preschool in 2011, first on staff then as the Director for 7 years. I learned the value of partnering with preschool families in the early childhood years, as well as growing a team of talented teachers. I am looking forward now to partnering with the families and faculty of The Primrose School of Greatwood.
On a personal note, my husband, Keith and I have been married since 2003 and we made Greatwood our home starting in 2004. We began our family in 2006 with our daughter Abby and welcomed our son Zach in 2009. When I’m not working, I enjoy time with my family puzzling, building Legos, playing games, and watching movies.
Hi, I am Rebecca Hogenson. I am passionate about partnering with all families, new and old, to create the best experience for our students. I am always available, whether you want to voice a concern or talk about the latest and greatest happenings in your life. I enjoy Fall Festivals, Spring Fling Carnivals, holiday celebrations, graduations and school events where we can come together and celebrate each other as a family and community. I began working at Primrose in 2011 and have never looked back. I believe in our curriculum, our culture and our learning approach.
I was married in July of 2016 to my husband Jimmy who works in the oil industry. Our son Declan was born in September of 2020 and attends Primrose. We also have two large dogs who keep things interesting at home. I love spending time with my family. Most weekends are spent visiting family and friends, as we eat, play and cherish our life together. I enjoy experiencing new things, trying new foods and exploring new places.
My passion for early education began while working at my first preschool in 2008. Watching children grow and develop inspired me to continue a path of early education while in school. I started with Primrose as an Early Preschool teacher in 2011. While working with Primrose I have worked as a teacher, Administrative Assistant, Assistant Director, Curriculum Coach and School Director. I received my Director certification in 2014. I love partnering with parents to ensure you have the best experience possible at Primrose. I want parents to leave knowing your child will not only be safe and learning, but also knowing they are loved and having fun while they grow at school. I also strive to partner with teachers to ensure they have all the skills and tools needed to connect with your children to build a relationship of trust to encourage future learning and development.

Hi! My name is Krysta or Mrs. Porras! I just recently graduated from the University of New Mexico with Summa Cum Laude. I graduated with a Bachelors in Phychology and am currently attending University of Houston for my Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling. I want to be a play therapist for children. I have worked with children since 2021 and immediately knew I was on the right career path. I started my Primrose journey as a Pre-Kindergarten Assistant Teacher. I have since been a lead teacher and now the Education Coach here at Primose School of Greatwood. I love building relationships with the families and helping teacher achieve delivering the best education to their students each day!
Whenever I am not work I am with my family. I have been married since 2019. We have a middle school daughter, who loves to try new activities. My family likes to explorer around the city and play board games whenever at home!

Hello Everyone!
My name is Miss Jasmyn. I am very excited to meet each and every one of you! My devotion for educating children came very early in life for me, and my prior experiences lead me right to the doorsteps of Primrose. The foundation and values that Primrose sets honor my ethics as a person and teacher, namely, equity and inclusion. The process of observing a child develop educationally, emotionally and physically is the reward that makes every day better than the last. My experience with children set about in 2013 where I taught as a private swim instructor for five years then soon after made the transition to the classroom as a preschool teacher. When I am not here at Primrose my time is spent furthering my education to recieve my Bachelors degree in Digital Marketing and spoiling my three fur babies that always keep me fast on the draw. I also enjoy long drives through a scenic view and any carnival with fried oreos! I am very eager to bring my charisma and positive attitude to Primrose of Greatwood!
Hi my name is Janae. I’m from Houston, Tx and I have been in child care since 2018 and I have absolutely loved every minute of it! I decided to work at Primrose because of the love I have for children. I love that I can make a positive impact on each child by teaching them new things everyday. I love having fun with all my students and watching them grow up. I love and treat each student as if they're my own, so I am eager to see their progress and accomplishments throughout the school year!

Ms. Mable has been with Primrose since 2003 and has 18 years of childcare experience. She has worked in several classrooms and now is our wonderful Kitchen Manager. On the weekends, you will find her relaxing at home. She has two children at the ages of 27 and 22. Her youngest, Chasity, works here at Primrose School of Greatwood in the Preschool Two classroom and her grandbaby, Ce’Veah, attends the school as well. Ms. Mable loves providing healthy, balanced meals to the children to give them a healthy mind, body, and heart!

Hello, my name is Janell Dominguez, and I am your Young Infant Lead Teacher On the weekends, you can find me spending time with my friends and family or relaxing, watching my favorite shows. I have a daughter who is the light of my life and has taught me so much about children and given me so much joy to work with other children. In the classroom, I love to teach the Primrose curriculum to the students to help with their development. I am so excited to be a part of the Primrose family and watch all my babies grow!

Hi, my name is Vanessa Chamberlain and I am so excited to be in the infant classroom! I have two children, a boy and a girl, who I love to spend time with. One of my favorite activities to do on my free time is swimming outdoors, which is about the only thing you can do in the Texas heat in the summer! I find much joy in watching a child’s eagerness to learn new things. Children's development is blossoming at this stage and I love to help them reach their new milestones.

My name is Ms. Claudia Solder and I am very excited to be one of Primrose's infant teachers. I am originally from Columbia and have now been in the United States since 2010 and love the life I have created for my son and daughter. I would describe myself as a very energetic and communicative individual and you will always see me with a smile on my face. I have a passion for teaching infants rhythm and movement through our Harmony and Hearts program. Teaching infants is my mission and brings so much happiness to my life. Hi! I'm Lena Baluch, I grew up in Los Angeles for half of my life and have been in the Houston area for the latter part of my life. I am a college student attending the University of Houston to obtain my degree in History. I love history and all things craft related, such as art and sewing. My favorite thing to do on the weekends is spending time with my cats and painting. Working with children bring me so much joy! I love seeing the happy and unique personalities within each child. I find importance in relating to the children's social-emotional development and listening purposefully to every child I interact with. I cannot wait to meet your family!

Hello, my name is Nicki Simons. I was born and raised here in Houston, Texas. I have been in the childcare industry since 2015 and have loved every minute of it. Primrose is a place that feels like home for me. I have a passion for creating teachable moments with my students and finding joy in celebrating children's milestones, big and small. On my spare time, you can find me watching baseball games with my family. I am so excited to meet each of the children and want them flourish.
Hello everyone, my name is Victoria Caesar and I am so excited to get to know all the families here at Primrose. I have been working in childcare since 2023 and have love every minute of it. I love working with children because I get to watch them learn so many new things through play. I believe that purposeful play is very important to a child's education and social-emotional development. In my free time, I love to read. I also love to travel and have visited many different countries. On my trips, I love to discover the different cultures that I encounter and meet new people while seeing sights from coast to coast. I am so excited to meet all of the families here at primrose and have purposeful interactions with children.
Hi I’m Chasity Smith. I am a loving parent of a little girl who is my biggest motivation in life. I found my passion for children when I attended a program in high school that allowed us to teach students in an elementary school. I knew Primrose would be the perfect place to continue my interest in teaching and have been here since 2022. I am currently attending college to further my degree in childcare education. I love the feeling of seeing the light bulb go off in the child when they understand the material I am teaching them. The best feeling to me is knowing I am helping children grow and develop their minds.

Hello, I’m Precious Jordan. I am originally from Rosenburg Texas, but currently living out my dream staying in Needville, TX. It was always a dream of mine to live in the country since I was a child. I love working with children because it’s wonderful to see how much one individual can really make a difference in another’s life. I’ve always been interested in teaching the youth and started pursuing this interest of mine in 2019. I love my Primrose kiddos and love seeing them grow and development throughout the year. I can’t wait to see what this year has in store for the Pre-K classroom!

Hi, my name is Amy Gandt and I am so excited to be one of your wonderful Pre-K teachers! I was born in San Antonio, and I have family both there and in Pennsylvania. I met my husband while we were both attending Texas A&M University and we are both graduates of the class of 2013! I earned my bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (4th-8th grade math/science) and began working in childcare in 2014 at the Primose School of Greatwood. I love to create trusting relationships with children where they are able to truly express themselves healthily. Teaching has alwauys been a passion of mine and I am so excited that I am able to provide children with opportunities for growth. In my spare time, you can find my spending time with my husband, our 1 year old son, and our two dogs. Also, I enjoy practicing my photography skills and watching movies!

My name is Ghyzlene Laoui, but the children and families call me Mrs. Gizelle! I have a true passion for working with our young learners and help guide them through the purposeful play here at Primrose! I place a large emphasis on communicating with parents in every aspect to provide assurance that their child is in a safe environment. Small group is an activity that I love most because it provides me with an opportunity to get to know the whole child and to build connections. I am married and have 3 beautiful children. Hi, my name is Aida Gil. I am currently attending Houston Community College to obtain my Associates degree in General Studies. I would like to become a pediatrician in the future. I have lived in Houston for most of my life. When I was 11, I moved to California for 5 years and then returned to Houston. Aside from school, I like to go to the gym when I am able or hang out with my friends. I also enjoy baking goodies for my family.
