October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. So many of us have been directly or indirectly impacted by all forms of cancer in our lives and, for one of our teachers and one of our parents, cancer is a daily reality. This is why the teachers at the Primrose School of Grant Park are joining together to participate in the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, October 7th.
This year, we seek to honor and support a mom at our school who is currently undergoing chemo treatments while working and caring for her 2 beautiful children (both of whom are young students at our school) as well as a member of our own Primrose team who underwent a hysterectomy earlier this year. We walk for them, and thousands like them. This is our chance to help! And you can help by sponsoring our teachers in the Winship 5K.
Winship Cancer Institute holds a special place in our hearts. Serving more than 17,000 patients each year, Winship helps cancer patients throughout Georgia, the Southeast, and beyond by working to prevent, treat, and cure cancer. This is where science becomes hope. Your support is essential to fuel breakthrough research that leads to new and better treatments for cancer. Every step our teachers take will help bring us closer to a cure. With your contribution, we can make real progress to help save and improve the lives of those affected by cancer.
We are so excited to be joining other supporters for the Winship 5K! Will you help us make a difference with a donation of any amount?
