I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education with a Minor in Theology. As an educator, my goal is to guide children and teachers in decisions, big and small. Showing them love helps to motivate their future ambition. This causes a ripple effect that not only influences them now, but for many generations to come. During my down time, I love to go kayaking with my husband, read a book, spend time on our boat, or spend a day at the beach. My name is Ashley Harden. I am a Savannah native and have lived here for most of my life. The largest part my childcare background has come from Montessori training, and I have worked in the industry for many years. When I was a teenager, I started working at Discover Montessori on Whitmarsh Island, a school that was owned by my mother for over thirty years. This is where I first got interested in working with children and learned a lot of what I have used in my career in the teaching and childcare industry throughout the years.
I worked with my mother running her school until she eventually retired. While I was helping my mother run Discover Montessori, I also worked full time in the jewelry industry. For almost a decade I worked for Savannah’s own Levy Jewelers and really enjoyed my time there until I moved to Port Angeles, Washington. My Husband of 18 years was in the United States Coast Guard and received orders to move to Washington State. Because of this, I decided to get out of the jewelry business and found my way back to Montessori childcare full time once again.
While living in Washington I worked as a private nanny and most of our time there, I worked at a wonderful Montessori School named Banbury Corner. I fell in love with teaching and working with kid’s full time, but we had to move again. After about 6 years in Washington State, we got orders to station Tybee, and moved back to our home on Wilmington Island. After moving back to Savannah, we had a beautiful baby girl named Brylee. When she was a baby, I started a job as a private nanny for a pilot from Gulfstream and later, a local doctor in Savannah but wanted to get back into the Childcare fulltime.
After Brylee was born, I wanted to get into Montessori full time, and I started working at Montessori Academy of Savannah. I have been there since my daughter turned 2. While there, I received my Montessori diploma from North American Montessori Center (NAMC). Recently, my family and I moved to Pooler, and we saw Primrose under construction. After looking into Primrose, I decided right away that this was where I wanted to be! I wanted a fresh start at this wonderful school. I am super excited to use my experience and my education in childcare and in Montessori and combine it with Primrose’s philosophy and pass it along to your children. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity. I can’t wait to meet you and your wonderful children very soon!
Hello, my name is Stephanie DeLoach. I was born and raised in New York. but I made my way to Georgia after marrying my husband who is from Savannah. I've always loved child care! My very first job was as a babysitter and I have also been professional nanny. Speaking of work, I’ve had a very eclectic work history including working in a pediatric office, working as a teacher’s aide for Toddlers. I also volunteered as an ambulance attendant where I learned basic lifesaving skills including adult, toddler, and infant CPR. While working and in between jobs, I’ve attended universities pursuing degrees in Childhood Studies with additional classes in Special Education, Communications and Psychology, with a specific focus on early childhood development. During my studies, I learned about philosophers such as Montessori, Piaget, Gesell, and Vygotsky.
Quite frankly, this is a dream job! I love taking care of children as I have a great rapport with them. It gives me a sense of purpose and I feel like it’s where I belong. The structure of Primrose's approach gives me a sense of comfort. I love that the teachers will be training together, sharing our classroom responsibilites. This is a wonderful opportunity for me, and I am so excited to begin working at Primrose!

Hello, my name is Joni Livingston. My family relocated to the Savannah area from Texas in September 2022. We are enjoying the low country and everything the Georgia coast have to offer. After obtaining my Bachelor's Degree in Business and working in the corporate world, I decided to pursue my dream of working with children. Currently I am working towards my Master's Degree in Education and Curriculum Development.
My professional teaching career started as a floating childcare teacher. I then taught elementary and middle school Music. As long as I can remember, I've wanted to work with children. In high school and college I worked as a nanny, volunteered as a children's teacher at church, and coached local children's leagues. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, writing, and going to the park with my son. We both love being outdoors. I love going to the beach, eating shaved ice, watching cooking competitions, home renovations, and of course, binge-watching my favorite tv series. My name is Kimberly Salmon and children are truly my passion! On February 12, 2022, my dreams came true when I married the love of my life surrounded by all of our family and friends. We moved to Pooler, GA and fell in love with the area. I’ve been in the education field for just about ten years now. Aside from teaching, I enjoy quality family time, cooking, drawing and creating beautiful things with arts and crafts.
I’ve always said that if I opened my own preschool, I'd like to work with infants and toddlers. Seeing the excitement in children's eyes when they learn something new simply amazes me. How they grasp knowledge and break it down for themselves makes me curious to see what they will do next. I enjoy the fact that every child is unique in his or her own way. That uniqueness molds them into who they will become. I am so happy to be one of the many people who will help their minds flourish. Children are our future! I’m so excited to be a part of the Primrose family!

Hi! My name is Nancy Martin. My husband, Adam, and I are the proud owners of the Primrose School of Godley Station. We are both lifelong residents of the area and have raised our three sons here. Our two older sons attend Georgia Southern University and our youngest son attends Calvary Day School.
Early Childhood Education has been my life’s work. For several years, I taught in the elementary school classroom and enjoyed training new teachers in that role as well. Adam is a United States Coast Guard Veteran and has provided insurance and financial services in our community for the past 24 years.
It has been our desire to pursue a business opportunity together to serve the needs of our community, using my background in early education and Adam’s business experience. In opening the Primrose School of Godley Station, we are able to accomplish this by meeting the early education and childcare needs of the parents and children of Pooler and the surrounding area.
