I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and welcome you to Primrose at Main and Teel.
My name is Rachel Almand and I am the Center Director. I am thankful to get the chance to be a
part of a positive early education program that strives to set a foundation for a lifelong learning.
Family is very important to me and I truly understand the thought that goes into choosing a
quality child care for your children. My goal is to always ensure that we are providing the quality
you expect from your partner in early care and education.
I have been in child care for my entire professional career, a little over 18 years, and have been
an Area Director and Center Director. I attended the University of Phoenix graduating with a
Bachelor of Science degree in Communication and Technology. I also attended Collin College
graduating with a Child’s Development Associates degree. I have achieved two Director
Certifications from the National Child Care Association. I have a passion for providing quality
programming for young children and enjoy every aspect of my career.
I have been in Frisco for 19 years and I graduated high school from Frisco High School. In my
free time, I love spending time with my husband, Jason, and our two children, Tatum and Liam.
We enjoy watching movies, playing sports, and hanging out at the pool. Go Cowboys!
As the Center Director, my mission is to be a positive impact for children and parents in the
Frisco and surrounding communities. I am excited and anxious to partner with all of the families
that will make up our Primrose family.
