I am so excited to be a part of the Primrose family! I am married to my wonderful husband, Kent, and we are the proud parents of 9 children - ages 16 to 24! I am learning the dynamics of parenting young adults. In my spare time I love to knit and spend time with my family. I have been in the field of education for 20 years serving as a kindergarten teacher, mentor teacher, and as a Large Center Director. I absolutely love working with children and sharing my passion with other teachers.

I am thrilled to be rejoining the Primrose family! My husband and I met at CSU and have been married for over 25 years. We have four grown children and five grandchildren between the ages of 2 and 9. When I am not running around with my family, I enjoy riding my bike, exercising, reading, and needle point. I have been in the field of education for over 20 years. I began with a home daycare in Menifee, California, where I later taught middle school language arts in Hemet, California, before moving back to Colorado, over ten years ago, to care for an ailing parent . Once we settled in Fort Collins, I continued my career in education as a Pre-K teacher with Primrose.  Next, I accepted a position in the Greeley Evans School District 6 as an instructional coach and later went back into the classroom as an English teacher at Franklin Middle School. Prior to leaving California in 2010, I had earned a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and was offered an opportunity to move into a leadership role in the Weld RE-5J district in Milliken in early 2019, where I have served as the Assistant Principal for Milliken Middle School. Throughout my experience, one thing has remained constant, my love for children and passion for education. I am so excited to share this with the Primrose teachers and families.

    Ms. Eileen

    Infant Nursery Supervisor

I am the mother of three children. Though my educational background is in business my volunteer work kept taking me back to working with children. I have cared for, worked with and taught children from birth through high school for the past 25 years. We recently moved back to Colorado from Alaska where I worked as a preschool teacher and director for a private preschool. My philosophy is that each child is unique, therefore they learn and thrive at their own pace. I enjoy nurturing and caring for children. It fills my heart with joy to see the face of a child who has mastered a new skill or conquered a challenge.

Hello everyone! I can’t wait to meet everyone and learn more about you and your families. Here’s a little bit about me: I graduated from University of Colorado Boulder in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. I like teaching in non-traditional classrooms—specifically outside. Teaching science, history, math and reading can sometimes be as easy as walking through our backyard and thinking critically about what we are observing; the simple act of playing in a complex world is so important for little learners to establish their unique identities. During my free time, when I’m not outside exploring, you can find me painting, playing with my animals, or making music with my roommates. I play piano, guitar, clarinet, and all saxophones fluently, and could probably muster a note or two on a brass instrument. I am so grateful to join the Primrose team. Let’s learn, play, and make some wonderful memories together!! Stay avid!

Christy and Bubba understand first hand the unique challenge of a family with two working parents. As they thoroughly searched for an early child care center that was more than a daycare and worthy of their daughter, they agreed that there would be no compromise - nothing short of the best child care would suffice. Primrose schools, far more than a day care quickly became the only option that would enable their daughter to reach a unique balance between education, socialization, and instilling in her the confidence to not just succeed in life but to thrive as a successful leader. Their experience with Primrose so impressed them, Christy and Bubba felt compelled to offer the same experience by owning and operating their own Private Primrose school in Fort Collins, Colorado. Christy, a breast cancer survivor since the age of 28, has been working in marketing around the semi-conductor industry for the past four years. She started her career as a project manager out of college for Continental Airlines. Bubba worked as a systems administrator out of college and quickly transitioned into technology Public Relations in the semi-conductor industry. Together Christy and Bubba have four children, a daughter, Lauren and three sons, Alexander, Everett and Lucas. As they explored the Primrose possibility, they realized educational childcare of this caliber did not even exist for their generation. They now believe families have an incredible opportunity to give their children the start they need to enjoy a balanced life of learning. Do you share the same goals and dreams for your children as Bubba and Christy? Are you convinced children need the best opportunities to learn and grow? Primrose is the leader in childhood education because they are committed to delivering on their promises. Christy and Bubba will work closely, along with our staff, to provide your child with the highest quality education and care possible.
