Explorers at our school along with students at Primrose School at Tatum joined forces with members of the Inferno ’05 Soccer Club to celebrate and pay tribute to the recent cave rescue of the Wild Boar Football Team in Thailand. During a fun scrimmage on the Primrose playground, the children learned and practiced important character development skills such as compassion, leadership and teamwork. We enjoyed seeing our “On the Ball” weekly theme come to life as the children united to show support for the Wild Boar Football Team.

Our students are learning about fire safety with a little help from the Peoria Fire Department! Firefighters paid a visit to our school to talk about emergency preparedness as part of Fire Prevention Week. Our community heroes showed off their impressive gear and then explored a giant fire engine with the children. We enjoyed hosting these local heroes and are grateful for the work they do every day to keep us safe!
