  • Veronica Cole, Director

    Veronica Cole


    Veronica was born and raised in Lincoln and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Education and Family Sciences from UNL. After moving to Omaha, she worked as a Preschool teacher and then transitioned into the world of social work for many years. Veronica began her leadership at Primrose School at Falling Waters before we even opened! She has a passion for working with children and families as well as providing training & support to the teachers in our school. Each new family who enrolls in our school likely had the pleasure of first seeing Primrose School through her eyes.

    Assistant Director

    Paige is a graduate of Iowa Western Community College where she earned a degree in Early Childhood Education. She has worked with children for many years and has loved seeing them meet milestones and seeing their faces when they do. Paige began at Primrose as our Office Manager and next assumed a role as an Assistant Director. Paige supports all aspects of operations and especially enjoys working with new families transitioning to our school.

    Kali was born in Denver but spend most of her life growing up in Alabama--ROLL TIDE! She spent seven years working with children in childcare settings, and was previously a store manager at a local housewares store. Kali began her Primrose journey as our Office Manager and next transitioned into her current role as an Assistant Director where she supports all aspects of operations and education.

    School Cook

    I grew up in Sioux City, but I have lived in Omaha the last four years. I have cooked in big and small restaurants, and I do a lot of cooking at home. I love making food that is unique and flavorful. I feel great when the serving bowls come back empty because I know the children really like something I made. I love the atmosphere at Primrose—all the children are so nice!

    I have almost completed my Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education at the College of St. Mary. I have been working with children for about eight years now. I love how when working with children no day is ever the same. I find helping children, and families, to be very rewarding.I try to be patient and calm and have a positive attitude in order to give children a really great experience.I love the professionalism of Primrose and how respectfully everyone is treated.

    I graduated from Midland University with a degree in Human Services with a concentration in Early Childhood Education. Throughout high school and college I worked with children of all ages in a variety of settings. I love the curiosity children have. Watching them grow and develop is truly an amazing thing to be around. The number one skill I use when working with children is patience. Patience, communication, empathy, and adaptability are extremely important skills in a classroom. I am excited to build bonds and relationships with children, families and coworkers and have those established relationships for a long time to come.

    I was born in Mexico but have lived in the United States since I was 5 years old. I love watching children learn and grow. I have a big imagination and am full of ideas and creativity, and I love using that on behalf of children. I love how Primrose gives teachers the opportunity to give extra attention to each child.

    I have lived in Plattsmouth my whole life. I have spent the past five years working with children in a preschool and childcare setting. I like making children feel safe and happy to see me. The most helpful skills to me as a teacher are lots of patience and good problem-solving abilities. I love how welcoming Primrose is.

    I live in Plattsmouth where I have lived my whole life.I come from a large family and have had lots of practice working with children as part of both family life and work experiences.It is so rewarding to make a difference in a child’s life.Seeing children smile and have fun is the best reward.I am impressed with how professional and welcoming I have found Primrose to be.

    I grew up in Papillion and am attending Brigham Young University in an online program right now. I have previous experience working with children, and I love the connections I can make while caring for them. I am a patient and loving person who likes to care for others. I am excited to work at Primrose because I appreciate the professional and responsible way they work on behalf of children.

    I am originally from Afghanistan and my first language is Farsi. My college degrees are in Biology and Chemistry, but I also have had trained in teaching and education. I love working with children. Being in a child’s world gives me internal happiness. The skills I use most in working with children are good communication and interpersonal skills and patience. I love the great interaction I see among staff, and I am very excited to be employed by Primrose.

    I have an Associate Degree in Pharmacy, and I have most recently worked in the restaurant industry and home health care. I find working with children very rewarding. We learn from each other! I was impressed with how friendly the staff was when I came in—so many greeted me and made me feel comfortable. I am excited to get to work with some amazing children and for all the challenges ahead of me.

    I am originally from Lincoln, and I am pursuing a major in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology. I believe learning is a two-way street where I teach children and they teach me. In the classroom I am patient, kind, understanding and helpful. I think children are an absolute blessing!

    I am originally from Glenwood, Iowa but live in Omaha now. I have worked with children in the past in a home care setting. I think that children are always so much fun to be around. I like to notice when a child needs help but does not want to speak up. I love Primrose because it is a mix of childcare and school!

    I grew up in the Ozarks in southwest Missouri. I began working with children as a babysitter and then worked for three years with infants in a childcare center. Skills that help me work with children are using teamwork, clear communication and also having good sense of humor.

    I am from Gretna where I have lived my whole life. I graduated from Metropolitan Community College with an Associate Degree is Business. My previous teaching experience is in a preschool classroom for two years. I love when children master something which struggled with before. I have a patient, fun, and bubbly attitude, and I cannot wait to participate in everything Primrose has to offer.

    I grew up in Bellevue and have worked with children for over six years. I love being around children as the are positive and they always have such great imaginations.     I grew up in Northwest Iowa and came to Nebraska to attend Wayne State College. My degree is in Sports Management, but I have had a lot of experience caring for children. I love helping children learn and seeing all the different milestones they can accomplish. I love the Primrose value of giving without expecting—I love giving to others.

    I have worked in a childcare setting for over 11 years and am currently pursuing my degree in education. I love seeing children grow and learn. I feel that every child is like a puzzle, and I enjoy getting to see them put new pieces into their puzzles and watching to see what picture they create for their lives. I am patient, and I enjoy seeing people embrace their skills and character. I also enjoy helping people in any way I can which helps creates a safe and loving environment. I am excited to learn and grow as well as discover new things about myself.

    I have recently attended Oklahoma State University and will attend UNO soon to study biotechnology. I have worked with children in a childcare setting the past two years. I have also enjoyed teaching Irish dancing to children. I love the connections and bonds built between students and their teachers and seeing children reach milestones, thrive and be able to celebrate that with them. I think of myself as patient and a good problem solver who is able to give each child the attention and care that they need in order to be successful.

    I am originally from Viborg, South Dakota where I married by high school sweetheart. I have worked with children for over eight years and, after a break working with the elderly, I am excited to be back working with my first love—children! I have a loving and patient personality, and I am excited to prepare children for Kindergarten. My husband and I have three sons.

    I am from Grand Island and I go to school full-time at UNO. I am studying Criminology, Criminal Justice and Political Science. I feel like I am truly able to be myself around children. They help me communicate more efficiently and the truly just make me happy. I am most excited to build relationships with children.

    My family lives in Arkansas and I attend the University of Nebraska-Omaha. I have enjoyed teaching at other preschools and church nurseries in the past. I love how kids always manage to make you laugh—even on hard days. I am a positive and patient person and I especially appreciate the Primrose School environment.

    I recently graduated with my Associate of Fine Arts degree through Metropolitan Community College. I am considering a future degree as a teacher, so I think Primrose will be a great start to my future. I love being able to care for children by teaching them early developmental skills. I also love having fun with children while also making sure it is a safe environment. I am interactive with children and always pay very close attention to their needs.

    I come to Primrose after a career in various business settings. I have a degree from the Omaha College of Health Careers in Dental Assisting. I am one of 12 children and was very involved in the raising of my 10 younger siblings and nieces and nephews. What I enjoy most about working with children is that we are the beginning of a lifelong journey of learning and helping develop minds for the future.

    I studied general education at Metropolitan Community College and Elementary Education at Midlands University. I have worked with children in many different settings.
