Hello Primrose Families! My name is Sean Troop, and I will be the assistant chef for The Primrose School of Exton! I've loved to cook since I was a child, and have been working in the culinary field for 8 years now.  In my free time I coach youth football for the Downingtown Young Whippets!  I've been coaching since I was 16 years old, and love every minute with my awesome team!

Hello, my name is Diane Blazak. I’m very excited to be working here at the Primrose School of  Exton as the Infant Assistant Teacher. I am proud to be a part of your child’s growth and development during their formative years. I received my BS in Business Administration and my AS in Nursing from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I have worked as a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse for over 30 years. I have 3 grown successful children, a son and 2 daughters. I live on a little 5 acre historic stone farmhouse with a small salt water tank raising coral frags, 3 Nokota Horses, and 2 dogs, along with my youngest daughter. I love riding, gardening, cooking, traveling, and training my golden retriever 1 year old puppy as a therapy dog for children. I am looking forward to meeting and getting to know you and your child.

I’m Ms. Amber, I wanted to tell you a little about myself. I have 10 years of Child Care experience. I enjoy watching children learn and grow. I have an associates degree n General Studies from Delaware County Community College. I plan to continue my education in Early Childhood. One of my favorite book is “Dragons Loves Tacos”. In my free time I travel with my family. New York is one of my favorite places to visit. It is my goal to keep a healthy and safe environment for all children and staff.

Hello, My name is Laura McLaughlin, and I am so excited to be the lead teacher in the Infant classroom! I live in Coatesville with my two sons and a cat, and I have worked in child care for about 27 years, and love it. I have worked with every age group from infants to kindergarten. I enjoy running, walking, going to the beach, restaurants, and site seeing . I am looking forward working with the Primrose School of Exton family!

Hey there!  My name is Desaree Barnett, and I'm so excited to be the Co-Lead Teacher in the Older Infant classroom! I currently live in Downingtown, PA with my fiance, son, and cat.  I have 12+ years experience in the childcare field, from infants to school age children, and a CD credential. Some things I really enjoy are; going to the beach, movie theaters,playing video games, shopping, cookouts, and family time.  I cannot wait to work with the Primrose School of Exton staff, all of the littles, and their families!

Hi! My name is Leticia, but you can call me "TT." I have been in early childhood education for 15 years and love spending time with my kiddo's every day. In my spare time, I love to cook, travel to new places, and babysit. I am working toward my CDA to further my education with children.

I'm Miss Shanice. I am a co-teacher in the toddler room. I grew up in West Chester, PA. I graduated from Bayard Rustin High School in 2013. I currently attend Immaculata University, and I have worked in child care in many different facets since I was 16 years old, I also have 4 sons of my own. My favorite thing about working with children would have to be building relationships with them as they grow. My favorite children's book is But not the Hippopotamus. In my free time, I enjoy traveling with my family. I am so excited to be a part of the Primrose crew.

Hi my name is Gemma Johnson, and I am the lead Toddler teacher.  I have worked in childcare for 9 years and with children for 18 years. I have 3 daughters and a wonderful husband.  During our free time we like to draw/color, have movie nights and do crafts.  I am so excited to start my new adventure with Primrose and to help little minds grow.

Hello! My name is Olivia Hyduke! I have my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education from West Chester University and have experience working with children of all ages. In my free time I like to go on hikes and bike rides with my dog, Roo. I also enjoy going to the beach, trying new restaurants, and completeing jigsaw puzzles. I am so excited to be joining the Primrose School of Exton family!

Hello! My name is Ms. Giovanna, and I am going to be in the Early Preschool classroom as a Teacher Assistant with Ms.Olivia! I’m very excited to be working with your children, and cannot wait to have lots of fun. I have a bachelors degree in P.E. Physical Education, and have worked in Elementary and Middle school children in Puerto Rico. I have also volunteered wth many kids activities such as an Elementary to High School triathlon in Puerto Rico. I’m fully bilingual in Spanish. My favorite Color is orange, like a sunset. I love Italian food, and my favorite hobbies include playing indoor and beach volleyball. I most love being with my family and friends during holidays. We are going to learn so many things in our Early Preschool classroom, and I am looking forward to every minute of it!

Hello! I’m Miss Emily! I am currently a student at West Chester University earning my degree in psychology and elementary education. I’ve been working with children for years and can’t get enough of their big smiles, dance moves, and lightbulb learning moments! In my free time, I love to listen to podcasts, workout at the gym, or spend time with friends. My favorite treats are a good coffee or cookie dough ice cream! I am so excited to be joining the Primrose family!

Hi! I'm Miss Sara, I am so excited to join the Primrose Family! I went to Downingtown East High School, and have worked with children for many years! I love watchig them learn and grow with all their different personalities and milestones! I enjoy spending time with my three year old son! My hobbies are eating ice cream and going to new places!

My name is Sierra Wagner have joined the Primrose team as a Venture Program Support Teacher. I have my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from West Chester University, and I was previously a Direct Support Professional and a Neurocognitive Specialist. Working with children at their level is, om my opinion, one of the most important piece of working in child care.

I’m Miss Anamika, I really love working with children, and enjoy their company. I live with my husband and my 13 year old son.  I love my family, and love to spend time with them! I started my first job as assistant teacher at the Montessori School with toddlers, which was a great experience.  I also started with the Primrose School of Concordville in their Pre-K classroom. I have done my post-graduate in computers, and I do volunteer in an organization teaching language.  My favorite thing about working with children is seeing them grow and learning new things. In my free time to love to paint, dance, and again spending quality time with my family.

My name is Ms. Johnston (Ms. J), and I am from Reading, PA, and currently live in Media, PA . I have 4 years experience in teaching and creating S.T.E.A.M., art and summer programs for children, 3 years of experience in teaching for Early Childhood Education, and 8 years of creating and coordinating art and recreational programs for people of all ages. I have a CDA for ages 3-5, a Bachelor’s Degree in Theater, and additional college education in Biology, Nursing and Communications.

I am a total foodie; I particularly love Japanese cuisine, Indian cuisine, Southern comfort foods, breakfast foods garlicky potatoes and greens, and almost anything pasta. My favorite treats include dark chocolate, dark roasted coffee, loose leaf herbal tea, pastries and ice cream…. it's hard to choose a favorite food.

I love creating all sorts of art (especially functional art) and creative content! I love reading new things in the world of science, board game days, going to escape rooms, being out in nature, rock climbing, running traveling and having other fun adventures. I also love having quiet moments to reflect and get spiritual, and enjoy and be grateful for the blessings in my life. "Today is Monday", by Eric Carole will always hold a special place in my heart. I also love the book "We Are Water Protectors", by Carole Lindstrom.

The Primrose Friends I most relate to are Erwin, Benjamin, Megy, and Mia. I love art and Friendship like Erwin, I love Science like Benjamin, and I value Conservation and Citizenship like Megy and Mia!

Hello Friends!  I am Miss Becca, and I am so excited to be part of the Primrose family! I have worked in childcare as a nanny for 6 years, and have over 10 years of experience teaching music, theater, art, and engineering to kids of all ages.  My favorite thing about working with children is wathcing them making discoveries, and making connections with their world. In my free time you can find me performing in plays and musicals in community theaters around Philadelphia.  I also enjoy sci-fi, fantasy, and comic books.  When not in the classroom I always have a book in my hand!

I am currently finishing my studies in Behavioral Health Science. I lived in Arizona for 3 years, and worked as a Behavioral Therapist. I love the beach, spending time with my family and friends, and being outside. I find so much joy in making children smile and laugh. I cannot wait to see all the progress each one of the children in my class will make!

Hello Primrose families! My name is Miss Jess. I earned my B.S.Ed in Early Grades Preparation from West Chester University. I have been working in childcare/education for almost 10 years. In the past, I have held positions such as preschool teacher, kindergarten assistant, and elementary librarian. I am excited to be a preschool teacher again! In my free time, I enjoy reading, video games, beach trips, and spending time with family/friends. I look forward to building connections with the preschool class and families!

Hello! My name is Brittany Allison and I am joining the Primrose team as a Pre-K teacher. I attended Penn State University, where I studied Special Ed. and Early Childhood Ed. I have many years of experience in the educational field. In the past, I worked with children with special needs, more specifically behavioral and mental health support. Prior to coming to Primrose, I was a Pre-K teacher and have even worked with kindergarten aged children. I feel lucky to have a job I am passionate about. I genuinely enjoy educating and nurturing children. My philosophy is that each child is unique. Therefore, they learn and thrive at their own pace. I am so excited to take part in your child’s growth and development!

Hello! My name is Jean Mackey, and I am grateful to have this opportunity to be your child's support teacher! I have an Associates degree in Medical Office Management from Pennsylvania Institute of Technology.  Shortly after high school I discovered my passion for working with young children, and have many years of experience working children from infants to third grade.  I enjoy spending time with my family, volunteering at my daughter's high school, walking, baking delicious desserts, eating, and then more walking!  I am looking forward to meeting all of the wonderful Primrose children and families as we journey this exciting new beginning together!

Once my kids were off to school I worked as a kindertarten aide for 3 years.  ​I attended DCCC For a year with hopes of becoming a teacher. Life went in a different direction. I have always been drawn to children by their humor and innocence.​ My favorite books to read over the years was anything to do with Winning The Pooh. In my free time I enjoy hiking, kayaking, hanging with my cat, Sniker and of course spending time with my family. travel with my family.
