Primrose School of Evergreen Owners

Franchise Owner

Bejal and Mohit Patel

Meet the Patels — Bejal and Mohit, owners of Primrose School of Evergreen, a national and international award-winning preschool in San Jose, CA.

Every parent knows the feeling of searching for a preschool they can trust with the person they love most. For Bejal and Mohit Patel, creating that place has become their life’s work.

The journey began with a childhood memory. At just five years old, Bejal attended boarding school, where she witnessed the challenge her parents faced in finding a school they could truly trust. That experience stayed with her and sparked a lifelong dream of creating a place where children would not only receive a well-rounded education but also feel loved, valued, and genuinely cared for.

Raised in families where education mattered above all else, they knew that if they were going to build something of their own, it would be a place devoted to high-quality early education and child care. After successful careers in corporate America, the Patels chose to follow that dream. Mohit, an engineer with a Master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University, and Bejal, a corporate communications specialist who holds a Master’s degree in Communications, combined their professional experience with a shared belief that the earliest years of a child’s life have the greatest impact on who they become.

They chose Primrose the day they discovered the Primrose Balanced Learning® approach in action. Primrose naturally instills curiosity in children by helping them develop a strong foundation and love for future learning by practicing concepts in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) as part of the Balanced Learning ®approach, which combines purposeful play with nurturing guidance. Living in the heart of Silicon Valley where most schools follow an aggressive academic-based curriculum the Patels envisioned a school where children could develop academically while still experiencing the joy of childhood—where curiosity is celebrated, confidence is nurtured, character is intentionally developed, and learning feels exciting every single day. Since children here often feel the pressure to succeed academically, the Balanced Learning approach will help instill a true lifelong joy for learning in children. Today, Primrose School of Evergreen serves families from Evergreen, Silver Creek, and San Jose, providing nurturing care and exceptional STEM education from infancy through Transitional Kindergarten, along with after-school care and enriching summer programs. Every classroom, every lesson, and every interaction is thoughtfully designed to help children become confident learners, compassionate leaders, and kind human beings.

The Patels want to provide parents with the peace of mind that comes from knowing their children are well-cared for while receiving a high-quality early education. That care shows in the details families notice on their first visit: a heritage building on 1.7 green acres of the historic Mirassou Winery grounds on Aborn Road, teachers selected as carefully as family, fresh meals prepared daily by in-house chefs, and enrichment from chess, piano to coding, the school is intentionally designed to feel like a second home.

The Patels’ commitment to excellence has earned national recognition, including being named International Franchise Association Franchisees of the Year and receiving Primrose Schools’ National Franchise Owner of the Year, the highest honor among more than 500 schools nationwide. Their preschool has also been featured on KRON 4, ABC 7, Bank of America, The 74, and Yahoo News. In 2026, Primrose School of Evergreen was selected as a National Training School, welcoming new owners and leadership teams from across the country to learn from its culture and best practices.

While these honors are meaningful, the greatest reward comes from watching a baby’s first steps, seeing a shy child discover their confidence, celebrating a preschooler writing their name for the first time, or hearing a parent say, “My child can’t wait to come to school.”

Those everyday moments are the true measure of success.

To Bejal and Mohit, Primrose School of Evergreen has never been just a preschool. It is a community where childhood is treasured, families feel supported, and every child is known, encouraged, and loved.

They would be honored to welcome your family and show you why so many parents have trusted them with the most important people in their lives.
