Meet the Patels – Bejal and Mohit, This family takes great pride in introducing the Primrose School of Evergreen – a premier preschool nestled in a heritage building on a spacious 1.7-acre lot committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for children. Their family’s legacy of providing high-quality education led them to open their Primrose school.
An engineer by profession, Mohit has earned a Master of Science degree from Johns Hopkins University in Bioinformatics where he graduated with honors. In his career previously, he went from supporting various military agencies to managing a team for a multi-billion dollar company. His wife Bejal, has completed her Masters in Communications from the prestigious Manipal University. She is an enthusiastic communications specialist with experience in Corporate Communications, Public Relations, Branding and Media Analyst for many Fortune 500 companies.
Having attended a boarding school at the age of 5, Bejal realized the struggle her parents faced while looking for a school that would give her a well-rounded start to the journey of learning. Since then, she is a stickler for high-quality education and is passionate about providing an environment that fosters all aspects of a students’ development. Since both came from families who laid integral importance to academics, Mohit turned his personal and business focus to education to make their dream come true.
When they saw the curriculum in action, they realized how the program naturally instills curiosity in children by helping them develop a strong foundation and love for future learning by practicing concepts in science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) as part of the Balanced Learning ®approach, which combines purposeful play with nurturing guidance.
Living in the epicenter of tech economy where most schools follow an aggressive academic-based curriculum the Patels recognized a need for high-quality early education in the Bay Area. Since children here often feel the pressure to succeed academically, the Balanced Learning approach will help instill a true lifelong joy for learning in children. Primrose encourages a child to be a child by focusing on building children’s confidence and independence, so they feel comfortable venturing out, exploring on their own and asking questions – all of which help them develop a love of learning they take with them into elementary school and beyond.
The Patels want to provide parents with the peace of mind that comes from knowing their children are well-cared for while receiving a high-quality early education. They will each put their passion for lifelong learning, education and their business backgrounds to use in their school.
We are delighted to provide unique learning experiences to the youngest citizens of the Silicon Valley.

To better meet the individual needs of every child, we’re proud to implement Ages & Stages Questionnaires® (ASQ®-3 and ASQ®:SE-2) in Primrose schools across the country.
Happy Diwali from Primrose School of Evergreen! Diwali is a Hindu festival of lights that is celebrated to mark the victory of light over darkness and good over evil.
Each Primrose school is held to high standards of safety and cleanliness while maintaining a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
Congratulations to our Family of the Month, The Nishanth Family! 🎉
There’s no question that parents want their preschoolers to grasp the basics of colors, numbers and letters to foster a lifetime of learning.
Today our school had an Election Day! Each child voted for Percy the Rooster for ice cream and Mia the Mouse for cookies! 🐓🍦🐭🍪 Our mission is to create a brighter future for all children by teaching the importance of civic responsibility. ✨ Just remember, you are never too young to have your voice to be heard or counted in a meaningful way! ✔️
It might seem odd to think about your preschooler exploring data analysis and algebra.
Día de Los Muertos is also known as Day of the Dead is a Mexican holiday that honors their loved ones who have passed away and ancestors. This celebration involves creating altars or ofrendas with photographs, personal belongings, favorite foods and other items. The altars are decorated with sugar skulls, colorful flowers and candles. Thank you to our Pre-K class for making tissue paper flowers for our ofrenda! 🕯️🥀
It's a fact: children learn better when they are engaged. That's why purposeful play and nurturing guidance from teachers are key components of Balanced Learning. See how this time-tested approach with a strong emphasis on life skills and character development can help your child develop and excel.

Our Thumbs Up! curriculum focuses on complex physical activities for all ages! Our preschool class focused on balancing and galloping. They practiced galloping in a straight, curved or zigzag pathway. 〰️
In our Pre-K classes, the students reviewed two-step and three-step pattern work in small groups. The students spotted the pattern and then drew in the next pattern. They also explored and created patterns with natural items such as wood slices, rocks and pine cones!
Happy National Day of Belongingness! ✨ At Primrose, our goal is to create a culture of belongingness so that each child and family feels special, creating an environment that both nurtures and respects similarities and differences in our students and families, staff, and communities. Fostering a sense of belongingness in the classroom begins by creating a welcoming and supportive atmosphere, celebrating diversity, teaching empathy and inclusion, building positive relationships, involving families and so much more! Children who feel valued and included develop confidence and a strong sense of self! ❤️
Our Pre-K students were so happy and proud to bring home their self portraits! The class was introduced to self portraits by reading the book I Like Me! by Nancy Carlson and learned about how each person has unique qualities and everyone is special in their own way. The students worked on this special project for two weeks by painting the frames and tracing their photos to create a drawing of themselves. The students even beaded the hanging wire! Great job Pre-K 1! 👏🏽 #primroseproud

Infants naturally explore their environment through movement and play. Outdoor play provides infants with fresh air, sunlight, sensory stimulation, which promotes healthy growth and development. ☀️ It also exposes them to new sights, sounds, and textures that they might not experience indoors. They have been having a blast interacting with their peers and teachers as they are learning about the world around them! 🥰

Primrose School of Evergreen is officially 3 years old!! It has been such an amazing journey these past three years. At Primrose School of Evergreen, our Adopt-A-Grandparent Program is an integral part of our curriculum. The concept of "adopting a grandparent" is for children to build a relationship with a local senior citizen. This program is to help young children develop genuine relationships with senior citizens in their community while providing welcome social contact for the senior citizens. Both young and old are stimulated through meaningful participation in each other's lives. This program creates opportunities for our young children to develop respectful, positive relationships with a different generation that they may not usually be around. 👵🏼👴🏼

We remain committed to providing a clean and safe environment where children can thrive. Our school uses an indoor air purification system - Air Scrubber by Aerus designed to reduce the pathogens from the air supply through the HVAC system, helping to limit the spread of viruses. Our HVAC system also pumps fresh air into our classrooms and then circulates the air only in that classroom. This is just one component of the measures to keep our families and staff healthy and safe. 💕

Congratulations on the recent or soon-to-be addition to your family! This time in life is full of so many decisions – from which diaper brand is best to which pediatrician to call – and all of them can be nerve wracking. But for many parents, the decision that often causes the most angst is, “Who will take care of my child while I’m at work?”
Primrose School of Evergreen made beautiful deepas and rangoli. Read more about what Diwali is all about.
Lately, everyone seems to be talking about STEAM. It’s a hot topic in the world of education and in the business community, but what does STEAM have to do with your preschooler?
Our priority at Primrose School of Evergreen is caring for your child's overall well-being.
A parent’s greatest hope is for his or her child to grow into a happy, successful adult.
Does the idea of your little one asking if he can help you clear the dinner table sound like a dream? We believe who children become is as important as what they know. At Primrose®, we teach responsibility at a young age through assigned classroom jobs such as weather reporter, line leader, and lunch and snack helper.
Every parent wants their child to grow up to be a good person, full of kindness, integrity, confidence and compassion, so it would make sense to begin nurturing these skills as soon as children are old enough to “get it,” right? But what age is that, exactly?
It might seem odd to think about your preschooler exploring data analysis and algebra. But it isn't.
Have a few questions? We have the answers!
