Meet the Patels – Bejal, Mohit, Pankil and Lipi. This family takes great pride in introducing the Primrose School of Evergreen – a premier preschool nestled in a heritage building on a spacious 1.7-acre lot committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for children. Their family’s legacy of providing high-quality education led them to open their Primrose school.
An engineer by profession, Mohit has earned a Master of Science degree from Johns Hopkins University in Bioinformatics where he graduated with honors. In his career previously, he went from supporting various military agencies to managing a team for a multi-billion dollar company. His wife Bejal, has completed her Masters in Communications from the prestigious Manipal University. She is an enthusiastic communications specialist with experience in Corporate Communications, Public Relations, Branding and Media Analyst for many Fortune 500 companies.
Having attended a boarding school at the age of 5, Bejal realized the struggle her parents faced while looking for a school that would give her a well-rounded start to the journey of learning. Since then, she is a stickler for high-quality education and is passionate about providing an environment that fosters all aspects of a students’ development. Since both came from families who laid integral importance to academics, Mohit turned his personal and business focus to education to make their dream come true.
When his brother Pankil and wife Lipi were looking for a preschool for their daughter Pearl their uncle, a proud Primrose owner introduced them to Primrose Schools®. When they saw the curriculum in action, they realized how the program naturally instills curiosity in children by helping them develop a strong foundation and love for future learning by practicing concepts in science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) as part of the Balanced Learning ®approach, which combines purposeful play with nurturing guidance. Coming from a business development and management background, Pankil wanted to bring the Primrose Experience to communities that deserved access to the same.
Living in the epicenter of tech economy where most schools follow an aggressive academic-based curriculum the Patels recognized a need for high-quality early education in the Bay Area. Since children here often feel the pressure to succeed academically, the Balanced Learning approach will help instill a true lifelong joy for learning in children. Primrose encourages a child to be a child by focusing on building children’s confidence and independence, so they feel comfortable venturing out, exploring on their own and asking questions – all of which help them develop a love of learning they take with them into elementary school and beyond.
The Patels want to provide parents with the peace of mind that comes from knowing their children are well-cared for while receiving a high-quality early education. They will each put their passion for lifelong learning, education and their business backgrounds to use in their school.
We are delighted to provide unique learning experiences to the youngest citizens of the Silicon Valley.

In the dramatic play center, our Pathways students had fun pretending to be at the flower shop. Children recorded their flower order, selected the flowers, and wrapped them with paper to create bouquets. They practiced counting numbers as they pretended to purchase. When cleaning up, children learned to sort the flowers by color and place them in a matching color bucket. 💐🌼🌺🌸
Create a rain proof outfit for your child's favorite stuffed animal and put their critical thinking skills to the test with this easy at home STEAM activity.
We had a special visit from Evergreen Family Dentistry! 🦷 Dr. Ujjwala Dorlikar and her amazing team visited our Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten classes to talk about the importance of maintaining good oral health at an early age. The children had the opportunity to demonstrate the proper way of brushing on the models, asked Dr. Ujjwala great questions, and shared why it is important to have regular dental visits. 🪥 Thank you to Evergreen Family Dentistry for making learning so much fun!
Telling little white lies may sometimes be the easier route with young children. Check out these five tips that will help you navigate those tricky conversations.

Read Across America Day is a nationwide celebration that takes place on March 2nd each year. It is a day dedicated to promoting literacy and encouraging children to read more. The day is also meant to celebrate the birthday of the beloved children's author, Dr. Seuss. This event brings together kids, parents, teachers, librarians and others to engage in a variety of reading activities. Above all, Read Across America Day is a wonderful opportunity to instill a love of reading in children and to emphasize the importance of literacy for their future success. 📚
Today, we conducted an earthquake drill and evacuated the building. 🚨 Our Infants to Pre-K classes did an amazing job staying calm, getting out safely and relocating far away from the building. Training and drill exercises offer the opportunity for children and staff to learn their roles and responsibilities before, during, and after any type of emergency. Great job Primrose School of Evergreen! 🤗
Congratulations to our amazing teachers Ms. Alyssa, Ms. Preet, Ms. Bell and our Education Coach, Ms. Vaishali! 💛
The love was definitely in the air! This special day was full of love and friendship! The students wore red or pink to school, made Valentines day cards and brought special gifts and goodies for the teachers and classmates. There is nothing sweeter than spending time with your loved ones. 💌💐
In our Toddler class, the teacher read books about colors and flowers. The students looked at a variety of different flowers using some fun colored lens. The pink flower became a blue flower once the students placed the blue lens over the picture. 🌸🌈🔍
In our Pre-Kindergarten class, the students used manipulatives to demonstrate one-to-one correspondence for math. They practiced counting to the number 50 as a class, then separated into groups to either count with counters or write numbers.

Lunar New Year is celebrated throughout many Asian cultures for multiple days. Each culture celebrates Lunar New Year differently with various foods and traditions that symbolizes prosperity, abundance and togetherness. While most of Asia celebrates the Year of the Rabbit, Vietnam celebrates the Year of the Cat. 🐰🧧🐱
In our Wonder and Venture programs, our students are learning about motion and how positions of objects may change with a push or pull. Through hands on experiences, the students explored with rolling balls through paint, using a wand to move a magnet ball or created texture art with the wheels of a car. They had so much fun learning about motion through transportation, objects rolling on a smooth surface and directionality!
At Primrose School of Evergreen, our Adopt-A-Grandparent Program is an integral part of our curriculum. The concept of "adopting a grandparent" is for children to build a relationship with a local senior citizen. This program is to help young children develop genuine relationships with senior citizens in their community while providing welcome social contact for the senior citizens. Both young and old are stimulated through meaningful participation in each other's lives. This program creates opportunities for our young children to develop respectful, positive relationships with a different generation that they may not usually be around. 👵🏼👴🏼
To end the year, our families joined us to watch our Pathways, Preschool and Pre-K Winter Wonderland performances! ☃️ Our children sang their little heart outs and danced their jingles all the way! 🎄 We hope you all had a wonderful holiday break! ♥️
Thank you to all who donated to our amazing food drive. Our children helped to earn money, went shopping to buy the food, and then packed it in boxes to give to others. We raised over $700 and purchased 384 items of non-perishable goods and canned foods.🥫 It was beautiful to watch them participate in this act of caring from beginning to end. 🧡
For the month of November, the students at Primrose School of Evergreen participated in Caring and Giving events in a meaningful way. Our Pre-K classes have been learning about caring, giving, kindness, generosity, and compassion and had the opportunity to give back to our community through donating to those in need.
This school year, 85.1% of our Pre-Kindergarteners are above the fall benchmark for our Star Early Literacy Testing! This test assesses a child’s early literacy and numeracy skills and also indicates whether they are progressing at a rate to be ready for Kindergarten. The fall benchmark for Kindergarten readiness is 622 and our students are already scoring 672 on average. We are so proud of our children!
Grandparents Day is celebrated all over the world to recognize the important role grandparents play in our lives. They provide us with love, guidance, wisdom and the best bedtime stories. For our teachers to continue their growth in their professional development, we provided a day where they learned how to create more meaningful relationships, strengthen parent-teacher communication, and how we can continue to keep Primrose School of Evergreen a premium brand. To deliver the best care for our families, it's crucial to provide our staff continual training and the necessary resources to meet that goal!

We remain committed to providing a clean and safe environment where children can thrive. Our school uses an indoor air purification system - Air Scrubber by Aerus designed to reduce the pathogens from the air supply through the HVAC system, helping to limit the spread of viruses. Our HVAC system also pumps fresh air into our classrooms and then circulates the air only in that classroom. This is just one component of the measures to keep our families and staff healthy and safe. 💕
Our teachers at Primrose School of Evergreen renewed their CPR and First Aid Training! 🙂

We love to honor and respect every individual's views of the world, traditions, practices, and cultures. Diversity is about recognizing, respecting and valuing differences. Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a celebration of life and death. A beautiful tradition that the Latinx Community celebrate every year on November 1st to the 2nd.
Congratulations on the recent or soon-to-be addition to your family! This time in life is full of so many decisions – from which diaper brand is best to which pediatrician to call – and all of them can be nerve wracking. But for many parents, the decision that often causes the most angst is, “Who will take care of my child while I’m at work?”
Primrose School of Evergreen made beautiful deepas and rangoli. Read more about what Diwali is all about.
Lately, everyone seems to be talking about STEAM. It’s a hot topic in the world of education and in the business community, but what does STEAM have to do with your preschooler?
The teachers that vaccinate together, stay healthy and strong together. We are excited to share that most of our staff have received both doses of the vaccine! We have followed all the new health and safety protocols in order to keep our families safe and secure. Together we are #primrosestrong!
Our priority at Primrose School of Evergreen is caring for your child's overall well-being.
A parent’s greatest hope is for his or her child to grow into a happy, successful adult.
Does the idea of your little one asking if he can help you clear the dinner table sound like a dream? We believe who children become is as important as what they know. At Primrose®, we teach responsibility at a young age through assigned classroom jobs such as weather reporter, line leader, and lunch and snack helper.
Life can be a difficult balancing act for Parents. You work tirelessly to raise your children, stay on top of demanding work schedules, and make time for friends and extended family. Living under the restrictions of Covid-19 has only exacerbated these challenges. As the leaders in early childhood education and care, we know the challenges that you face, and we know that it is now more important than ever to enroll your child in quality early childcare programs.
Every parent wants their child to grow up to be a good person, full of kindness, integrity, confidence and compassion, so it would make sense to begin nurturing these skills as soon as children are old enough to “get it,” right? But what age is that, exactly?
It’s no surprise then that approximately 9 out of 10 Primrose pre-kindergarten students demonstrated readiness for kindergarten during the 2018-2019 school year.*
It might seem odd to think about your preschooler exploring data analysis and algebra. But it isn't.
