Ms. Carley is the Director at Primrose School at Edinburgh Commons, coming in Summer 2020. She is a graduate of Longwood University with at B.S in Liberal Studies with a minor in Psychology.
Ms. Carley has been with our Primrose School at Cahoon Commons family from the very beginning (2009). She began her tenure as a Pre-Kindergarten Teacher and she also worked in the Explorers class during our Summer Adventure Program. In the summer of 2012, Ms. Carley was promoted to a newly created position, Educational Training Specialist for 4 year, where she successfully assisted teachers in the classroom with curriculum and training needs. After 7 years of commitment to our Primrose families and staff, she was promoted to the position of Director in the summer of 2016.

Claudia Macon (pictured left): I graduated from Old Dominion University with a B.S. in Finance, and a M.B.A. degree. I have spent the past 26 years working in higher education at Tidewater Community College, the second largest community college in Virginia. Additionally, I also proudly serve as a Captain in the United States Navy Reserves, with 28 years of service. I am a Board Member of the Great Bridge/Hickory Family YMCA and a Member of the Chesapeake Chamber Women's Division. I manage the school's business administration and educational curriculum.
Tonya Gill (pictured right): I graduated from Virginia Wesleyan College with a B.A. in Business. After nineteen (19) years of dedicated service, many of those years serving the Chesapeake Community, I left a long term position with the United Way of South Hampton Roads as Senior Director of Resource Development to become the onsite owner of the Cahoon Commons location. I am an Executive Board Member of the Chesapeake Chamber of Commerce, Board Member of the Great Bridge/Hickory Family YMCA, Member of the Chesapeake Chamber Women's Division, Chesapeake Public School Career & Technology Center Advisory Board Member and Board Member of the Chesapeake Economic Development Authority. My Primrose responsibilities include managing the school's marketing, enrollment experience, and daily operations.
