    Inna Shepard

    School Director

Hello current and future Primrose parents. My name is Inna Shepard and I am the Director for Primrose School of East Windsor. I am so happy to have found Primrose Schools as I feel my values and philosphy about childrens development and wellbeing clearly align with Primrose.

I have 17 years of early childhood leadership experience across different schools and programs. I hold an MS in Education from Brooklyn College.  I have always wanted to be in the educator and started my career as a camp counselor in high school. I love to be in the classroom, building a relationship with the children, helping the teachers and ensuring all state and primrose standards are being followed. My goal is to partner with parents to ensure that children get the best education and care and that any concerns are addressed proactively.

I am very excited about the amazing Primrose curriculum that will help your children become well rounded community citizens. To me social, emotional, and cognitive development is very important to develop at an early age. I enjoy watching children learn in a preschool setting without realizing that they are learning.

I live in Freehold, NJ with husband Rob, daughter Sammy, son Zachary and two dogs named Dunkin the Goldendoodle and Donut the Jack Russell (any body want a dunkin donut?).  I love traveling, especially exploring new countries and cultures. Ask me about my latest trip when we meet! I look forward to partnering with you.

    Franchise Owners

Welcome to Primrose School of East Windsor!

We are Rashmi Agarwal and Shailendra Poddar, the proud owners of Primrose School of East Windsor. We have two wonderful children – a daughter who attends college in Boston and a son who is in middle school. We also have a cute puppy named Enzo. We both come from a business background and from families where education was very important to be independent and well-rounded. We are proud to bring the best early childhood education to the vibrant, diverse and family-friendly community of East Windsor, NJ, to forge a path that leads to a brighter future for all children.

I am a Certified Public Accountant and have worked in leadership roles in the finance industry for more than 20 years. I was integral in shaping and growing a large company and managing U.S. and international operations. As a working mom, I realized very early how important premium, high-quality early childhood education and care is in shaping our children’s futures. My lifelong dream has been to own and operate an early childhood education center and after my research on various education providers, I was very attracted to the mission and vision of Primrose and decided to open a Primrose school with my husband. Shailendra is a technology executive and previously owned a business and managed staff and operations.

Our goal is to ensure our school becomes an extension of your home and family. We are committed to hiring, developing and retaining an experienced, engaged and loving team that not only delivers the curriculum but also models the positive behaviors and attitudes of the Primrose family. We believe that a happy team leads to a happy day for our children and parents.

At Primrose, we believe who children become is as important as what they know. Primrose provides a research-informed, time-tested curriculum and a Balanced Learning® approach that balances purposeful play with nurturing guidance from teachers to encourage curiosity, creativity, confidence and compassion. We deliver more than a curriculum; it’s a life-changing early learning experience for children and their families.

Finding care for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make as a parent, and I promise you will love Primrose School of East Windsor. We hope you will give us the opportunity to show you how much of a difference we can make in your children’s foundational skills to develop Active Minds, Healthy Bodies and Happy Hearts®.
