Our party of five has been a part of Primrose Eagle Springs since August 2013. We have three children - Nakyta 18 years old, Gwen 7 1/2 years old and Maddox 9 months. Nakyta is a senior at Atascocita High School and enjoys many of the programs such as FFA and MCJROTC and is the Patriettes Manager. We are proud to say Nakyta will ship out this summer to the United States Coast Guard. Gwen is a second grader at Atascocita Spring Elementary. Her favorite color is rainbow and favorite shape is a heart. She loves karate and gymnastics and dreams to be a veterinarian when she grows up. Being a big sister has come naturally to Gwen as she’s become a little mother hen to her baby brother Maddox. Maddox enjoys chewing on things and quickly crawling to things he shouldn’t play with. But his contagious smile will melt your heart. Maddox completed out family this past summer and showed his true patriotism by arriving on July 4th. Ed and I met in 2000 while at work and married in 2004 in Dallas. We believe that the key to a happy family is lots of laughter. And our kids give us lots of that!
Gwen was almost two when she started Primrose. We had recently moved from Dallas because of a work transfer. We left behind our friends and family; our support system. We were scared because Gwen had never been with anyone who wasn’t family. But those fears left us after the first day. Gwen immediately connected with teachers in the EP2 class. The staff nicknamed her “Hollywood” because she would arrive every morning with her sunglasses on. She still has a box filled with sunglasses that she loves. The teachers even helped us kick the pacifier habit! Thank you!! We started to make friends in the class and things didn’t feel so foreign to us. Primrose made us feel like we were home. The staff and teachers have met our families when they’re in town and tag along for pick up. When I’m away for work, I get the best pictures from Tadpoles. It warms my heart when those emails pop up. Fast-forward six years as we enroll our newest addition into the infant class. I didn’t have any worries or fears because I knew the staff would take care of my baby and love him every second he’s in their care. I can see the joy in the teachers’ eyes when they meet Maddox’s eyes each morning and afternoon. I couldn’t ask for a better environment for my children to learn, love, and be loved!
