The Primrose School of Dunwoody selects Ms. Christine Burnett as the Apple of Our Eye for May.
Ms. Christine joined the Primrose Dunwoody team in October 2017 as a Co-Lead Teacher in the Infant I Classroom. She recently relocated from Oklahoma where she obtained her Child Development Associate credential. Currently she is working on completing her degree in Early Childhood Education. Prior to joining Primrose, Ms. Christine was a Lead Infant Teacher in a childcare facility and was the proud owner and main caregiver of her very own licensed in-home childcare center.
Outside of Primrose, Ms. Christine shares “My husband and I moved from Oklahoma to Georgia with our pup (Chewbacca) a little over six months ago. I moved from Massachusetts to do volunteer work in Oklahoma where I met my husband. We enjoy traveling, being outdoors together and we love exploring Georgia.”
Some of her favorite hobbies include hiking, fishing and camping. She enjoys community outreach with her church; especially with the youth program. She also enjoys relaxing and spending time with friends and family. Although she is from the city, she really loves country living. In Oklahoma she had chickens and she’s looking forward to having her own mini farm when she moves into her new home soon.
Ms. Christine shares her Primrose experience by saying, “I love working with such an amazing team, who whole heartedly enjoys working with children. We have such an amazing environment including families and management making Primrose a wonderful place to be! I overall love being able to love on our little ones and watch them grow and develop with such a great team.”
We are so happy to have Ms. Christine here at Primrose. She takes wonderful care of the babies and gives them lots of TLC. She has great relationships with the Infant Parents and truly cares for the care and development of each baby. Thanks so much Ms. Christine for all your hard work! Congratulations!
