The Primrose School of Dunwoody selects Ms. Carolyn Jackson as the Apple of Our Eye for June.
Ms. Carolyn joined the Primrose Dunwoody Team in February of 2018 as a Teacher in the Preschool II Classroom. She was born in Atlanta and is the only girl in the family with three brothers. She credits her mother for her amazing qualities of compassion, generosity, courageousness, and genuine concern for others. Ms. Carolyn is also a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserve, 81st Hospital Headquarters at which she served for over five years.
Outside of Primrose, Ms. Carolyn shares that she has been married to Chief Chukwuemeka Edeh for twenty-five years. She has had the pleasure of raising two wonderful twin step daughters. They have taught her even more to be a nurturing figure towards children.
Some of her favorite hobbies include meditating/relaxing, listening to the sounds of nature and listening to various forms of music (Gospels, Native American Flute, and Jazz). She also enjoys reading, watching movies, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Ms. Carolyn’s experience so far at Primrose has been exciting and eye opening. She adores the children and enjoys interacting with them from the Infant Classroom all the way to the Explorer Classroom. Her love for Primrose is best expressed in the following poem that she wrote about our school:
Primrose is like my family here
We open our hearts for you to come in
We’ll see you at the door with a big happy grin
Your children are our children and important you see
They learn, they have fun
It’s a great place to be!
So, stay for a while
And I know you will agree
That Primrose School of Dunwoody is the Center
For your Family
We are so happy to have Ms. Carolyn here at Primrose. She takes wonderful care of every child she encounters and gives them individualized attention. She truly cares for the care and development of each child. Thanks so much Ms. Carolyn for all your hard work every single day! Congratulations!
