Primrose School of Dunwoody

The health and safety of our staff and the children entrusted to our care is our top priority. We are proud to maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness while maintaining a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Health & Safety Practices in Place

  • Only custodial parents will be allowed inside the building. Any other authorized persons (e.g., grandparents, family friends, etc.) will be required to drop off/pick up at the front door.
  • Parent access is limited to a combined total of 15 minutes per day. Example: 7 minutes at drop-off and 8-minutes at pick-up. Again, for the health and safety of all, we ask parents not to linger in the building
  • All parents and Teachers will be required to wear masks during drop-off and pick-up regardless of vaccination status.
  • Daily temperature checks for all teachers, staff and students
  • Children or staff presenting with fever (100.4 degrees or higher) or respiratory symptoms are required to remain home until symptom-free (without the aid of medication) for 24 hours or until cleared by a doctor
  • Frequent hand washing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
  • Staff are continuously provided health and safety training, along with training in common signs of illness in children
  • Continuous disinfecting throughout the day on toys, manipulatives, furniture and free-standing structures using safe, peroxide-based cleaners and sanitizers
  • Professional custodial service sanitizes and cleans the entire building every evening
  • School-wide sanitizing bombs activated after hours every weekday

Our Commitment

With a clear appreciation of the trust you place in us, we are committed to following the stringent Primrose health and safety protocols, and ensuring our school meets or exceeds the guidelines from local and state officials.
