Our teachers and caregivers are trained, ready and excited to help spark lightbulb moments for your child. We invite you to visit and see our Balanced Learning approach in action
The Rolfsen and Gillies families welcome you to the Primrose School of Dripping Springs. Our family became interested in Primrose Schools through the great education and experiences Lauren and Payton Gillies both shared at the Primrose School of Round Rock. Impressed by the quality of education Primrose provides and recognizing the importance of early childhood education, our family is excited for the opportunity to be a part of Primrose and play a role in shaping the lives of children and families in the Austin area.
Chris and Shannan Rolfsen have a son Callen and a daughter Aubri who both attend Primrose. Chris comes from a 15 year career in Business Operations with Motorola/Freescale. He leads operations for the Primrose School of Dripping Springs. Chris also serves on the Primrose Advisory Council representing the best interests for Franchise Owners and their schools.
Jerry Gilles, father of Lauren and Payton, has worked in leadership positions in the financial service industry for over 25 years, most recently 17 years with Dell Financial Services. He leads the operations of the Round Rock school.
The schools feature the exclusive Balanced Learning® program for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. Developed by and taught exclusively at Primrose Schools, Balanced Learning blends teacher-directed and child-initiated activities with a special emphasis on character development in the schools.
We are conveniently located on Sawyer Ranch Road, right down the street from Rooster Springs Elementary School. Unlike an ordinary daycare in Dripping Springs, we provide your child with a robust early education and child care experience.

To better meet the individual needs of every child, we’re proud to implement Ages & Stages Questionnaires® (ASQ®-3 and ASQ®:SE-2) in Primrose schools across the country.
Here at Primrose, students in the wonder program engage in small group teacher lead activities daily along with child's choice centers. We love to explore and learn about the world around us!
Our new exclusive Harmony & Heart® program integrates our proprietary music and books in a variety of thoughtful ways each day. Through learning about music, while simultaneously being exposed to concepts in math, language, and character development, your child will grow as a musician, a student, and a person.
At Primrose Schools® Summer Adventure Club, learning meets fun through hands-on activities—like sports, robotics, and more—that encourage creativity, compassion and resourcefulness.
Each Primrose school is held to high standards of safety and cleanliness while maintaining a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
At Primrose, we emphasize learning through teacher directed activities and student choice centers. This provides an environment with nurturing guidance and establishes a love for learning!
There’s no question that parents want their preschoolers to grasp the basics of colors, numbers and letters to foster a lifetime of learning.
At Primrose, our students love to visit the Primrose Patch and learn to grow and tend to our garden.
It might seem odd to think about your preschooler exploring data analysis and algebra.

It's a fact: children learn better when they are engaged. That's why purposeful play and nurturing guidance from teachers are key components of Balanced Learning. See how this time-tested approach with a strong emphasis on life skills and character development can help your child develop and excel.
Now more than ever, it is important that we nurture young children to be accepting of those who are different than them.
