Welcome to Primrose School of Danville! My name is Morrina. I would like to be called Ms. Mo. I am so excited to get acquainted with each of you as we embark on this journey of learning together. I have always had a passion for teaching. I believe that children are the best humans in the world. As a teacher, I hold the greatest honor and privilege in helping to raise the future leaders, world changers, innovators and creatives of the world! I started working as a Nanny and continued in this field for about 10 years. Then, I got the opportunity to work at a Montessori school for about 3 years. Later on, I found myself working at a Reggio Emilia school. Now, here I am at Primrose. I love that I got the privilege of seeing the many different approaches to educating children. None of them have been like Primrose! Here at Primrose we offer a research-informed approach to teaching, learning, and caring for children. It is truly incomparable! Our Balanced Learning is exclusive and time-tested. Children engage in purposeful play with nurturing guidance. Here at Primrose, we create and cultivate an environment full of curiosity, creativity, confidence, and compassion. I look forward to meeting the needs of your child to ensure that they are reaching their milestones. We will meet and plan out the best care for your child. I am thrilled to partner with you on assuring your child gets all that Primrose has to offers and becomes all they were made to be!

  • Ms. Tammy

    Infant Teacher

My name is Tammy, I moved to the Bay Area from South Dakota many years ago. I have worked with children from newborn to five years old and had the opportunity to take care of triplets from birth, it has been rewarding watching them grow up, and to this day I still keep in contact with all of them. I conducted my Early Childhood Education classes from Canada College and have a BA Degree in Physical Education.

I can truly identify Primrose School of Danville as my home school. I received extensive training through Primrose learning modules as well as through hands on experiences and team building exercises.

Here at Primrose School of Danville we believe: “Who Children become is as important as what they know.” In our infant classroom we’re looking forward to helping and watching your child achieve their developmental milestones. For example, grasping items, turning over, sitting up, crawling, and standing. These milestones will be reached through our Balanced Learning Curriculum which combines purposeful play with nurturing guidance and working with you as parents to achieve these developmental milestones will be so memorable and rewarding. Your child will experience lots of learning and growth throughout the day, an example of this is through our Thumbs Up time that will work on body movement / control, eye – hand coordination, and various fine and gross motor skills exhibited through our wonder time and tummy time. During our Harmony & Heart (music) your child will be given a chance to express themselves through movement to various Primrose music selections and have the opportunity to use instruments (shakers) while sharpening their listening skills. Another special time we’ll share with your child is Wonder Time that brings things to life for them with everyday concepts such as colors and shapes.

As teachers at Primrose of Danville we’re able to enhance your child’s learning and challenge them because we’re provided with the Primrose Balanced Learning Curriculum, classroom equipment, toys, guided training, and assessment guidelines for each child that well help them reach their fullest potential.

We’re excited to begin this journey and can’t wait to get to know you and your child. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.

  • Ms. Ashley

    Toddler Teacher

Hello families, my name is Mrs. Ashley. We are so excited to get to know each and everyone of you and to have you be a part of our Primrose family! A little about myself and my experience, I have been working with children from ages 3 to 14 for the past 3 to 4 years with a majority of that being 5 to 6 years olds.  I was teaching kindergarten during the pandemic because the world may stop but education is too important to put on hold. That experience alone has taught me how important Early education is and why teaching balanced learning plays a big part in further helping children prepare for what is ahead of them.  I truly enjoy my profession, to be able to see the impact I can make on these lovely children's education warms my heart. Those who know me know that I am a ball of energy, I love seeing the smile on the children's faces when they begin feeding off of my energy! As of August 2023 I have become a newlywed and a homeowner both at the same time. With that being said my free time has consisted of renovating my new home and spending time with my family, that includes my new puppy Kai.  I am originally from Redwood City but with my the new move I am now across the bay. When looking for a new school to work at, nothing felt right. I was looking for a place that made me feel welcomed and where I could sense the passion they have to forage a path where children can grow to love learning and become their own role model.

  • Ms. Christine

    Early Preschool Teacher

I’m Ms. Christine; I was born and raised in the Bay Area (Walnut Creek) and currently live in the San Ramon area. My parents are in the surrounding area along with my younger sister and her family. In my personal time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, being outdoors depending on the season, helping others, and being creative either with computer projects, baking, or home decorating.

Teaching has always been a passion for me leading me down the path to earn my BA degree in Early Childhood Education. I have had many years of experience teaching children ages 2 – 5 years old. It is such a joy to see a child’s wonder – filled eyes and little minds working to understand the world around them. Though I have earned my BA Degree – my learning doesn’t stop there, I’m continuing to take more Early Childhood Education classes to extend my knowledge in the childcare field and challenge myself.

Throughout the past few months it has been a journey that I’ll never forget. Stepping foot into Primrose School of Danville just felt right from the beginning. I began my journey at Primrose through meeting new people – who are now my family, going through extensive training, hands on learning experiences, and practice situations. It has been very beneficial as I’ve created many new relationships through day – to - day happenings and Team Building Activities that only brought us closer as a family.

I have prepared the curriculum for your child that has been provided to us through our Primrose Learning Manager and have further accessed the resources(materials) that have been provided to us in order to encourage curiosity, creativity, confidence, and compassion for learning with your child. Through our curriculum your child will enhance their fine / gross motor skills, physical development, cognitive skills, social emotional skills, language development, and develop meaning full relationships with their friends and teacher.

I look forward to meeting you all soon continuing our journey together here at Primrose School of Danville. If you have any further inquiries, please don’t hesitate to ask me or our Leadership Team and we’ll be happy to help

Here at primrose School of Danville we deliver the best and most trusted early childhood education for children and families in America. This specialized curriculum incorporates all areas of child development in a fun and exciting way. Here at Primrose we believe that who children become is as important as what they know. Our Primrose character friends all represent important values and characteristics that build character and integrity. Over the last few months we have been learning everything we can about this detailed curriculum as well as the values and mission statement of Primrose schools. Some of the things we will be teaching are art, science, math, literacy, reading, writing, Spanish, physical development and social emotional development. We incorporate these lessons through a variety of hands-on learning experience. For example in February we will be opening a grocery store in the dramatic play area where children can purchase items with play money using mathematical thinking skills such as estimating and counting. This is just one example of how our balanced curriculum is incorporated into all learning activities going on that week to enhance learning outcomes.
Please feel free to reach out to me through the Pro-care app or by scheduling a meeting time throughout the year. Here at Primrose we are here to support the whole family in any way we can. As they say it takes a village. I want to thank you for trusting us with your precious children and letting me be a part of this exciting time of growth and development.
