Kelsi is 23 years old and loves working and being a part of our Primrose family. She is loving getting to know all the wonderful kiddos in her PS1 classroom as well as the children all around the school, she takes great joy in working with all the children and our staff. Kelsi has always loved working with children. While in Jr. High and High School she would volunteer to help in the special needs classes assisting the teachers, even after graduating she continued volunteering at the schools. Kelsi is the oldest sibling of two and the oldest cousin of twenty. In her spare time she loves spending time with her family...whether that’s a weekend of movie watching at the house, camping, road trips or vacation time at Disneyland. When at home she loves reading, drawing and spending one on one time with her little cousin Nate. This past year Kelsi's new favorite thing to do has been creating healthy recipes. Once you get to know Kelsi you will love her, she is kind, gentle, giving and has a big heart.
Spring is in the air, which means it's time to start working on your child's Spring Bonnet. Our Primrose families have had such a wonderful time over the last several years making these fun hats with their children we've made it an annual tradition. What a wonderful way to spend time with your child by designing and creating a hat for this fun event! Join us on Friday, March 29th at 10:30am as the children parade around our school grounds proudly wearing their wonderful Spring Hats!
It’s no secret – establishing healthy eating habits in children is often easier said than done.
Hello Primrose Family! We're the Hams. I'm Bodie, or "Bodie Daniel Boone", or just "Daniel Boone". I'll answer to any of those. You've probably seen me running around school at some point with my coonskin hat on- that I very rarely go without. I'm a huge fan of Daniel Boone and Davey Crockett. If you ask me, I may even sing the theme songs for you. Either way, I may sing them anyway, as I love to belt them out whenever I get a chance. I also love soccer, reading books, Batman legos, going on bear hunts (around the house 😉) with Dad, superheroes, and the Shrek movies. My dad, Bobby, usually drops me off at school in the mornings on his way to work. We own Blue Bottom Pool and Spa Supply. It's slow season now, but we're excited for Summer to pick back up and keep us busy with installing new pools and service. Dad is also a big sports fan and loves football, playing golf, hunting, fishing, and water sports. He's from Leander and we love living in such a great family-oriented town. My mom, Tifne, works as a Customer Success Manager for Blackbaud, a software company in Austin. They bulid websites for nonprofits and she helps them with best practices and managing accounts. She really loves spending time with us, watching movies, live music, and supporting her new business with Noonday. Mom is originally from LaMarque, south of Houston, but moved here 18 years ago and decided to stay indefinitely once she met my dad in 2002. She also just beat breast cancer, as of Feb.18th and is working on getting her strength...and her hair back.😊 We all feel extremely blessed to be on the other side of that and appreciate all of the support from our amazing Primrose family too! We stay pretty busy, but in our free time we love to be with our extended family, explore new vacation spots, local festivals, and just about anything where sun and water are involved. We love to meet new friends, so please don't hesitate to say hello if you see us! Have a blessed day! - Bodie The Ham Family
The challenges that preschoolers face, such as learning to take turns on the slide at recess, can sometimes seem miniscule to adults.
“She needs the pink sparkly one.” “Stop wrestling around with her like she’s a boy.” “That’s a boys’ toy.”
It’s no secret that bilingualism is becoming more common among today’s children.
February is Children’s Dental Health month!
Teaching a child to tie her shoes is an important developmental milestone – parents dream of the day that securing sneakers onto a squirming toddler is no longer a part of their morning routine.
