Howdy! I’m Mila Brynnley Stringer. It can be confusing to some because my mom calls me Mila and my dad calls me Brynnley...I answer to both...or neither, depending on my two-year old disposition. I have a big sister, Mariah, and she is 20. She graduated from Texas State with her Bachelor degree in Criminal Justice and is now in a Masters program for Clinical Counseling and Mental Health at Mary Hardin-Baylor. I miss her during the week, but she comes home to visit almost every weekend! I also have a sister who lives with me, Brylynn, and she is 6 years old next month! She loves Karate, and she just earned her red stripe belt! She is in kindergarten, but she got to experience the Primrose Life with me, during the summer. She loved every minute of it! Who wouldn’t?! They love on us and take care of us like we are family. I get the Primrose life everyday! My daddy (Cody) drops me off in the morning and my mommy (Davina) picks me up in the afternoon! Daddy is from Austin, and he went to Lake Travis High School. He is an Eagle Scout, and is ALWAYS prepared. He was also in the Corps of Cadets, played rugby, and studied Architecture at Texas A&M University. Now he is the Development Manager for Lendlease in Fort Hood, Texas. He is also a Master Gardener! Oh, he was also inducted into the Texas A&M Rugby Hall of Fame! Yeah, my daddy rocks, and that's why I’m a daddy’s girl...well, that and also because he spoils me. :-) My mommy is pretty awesome too. She is the Assistant Principal at Winkley Elementary, right next door to Primrose! She LOVES her job and the whole community. She feels very lucky to work close by and serve in the community where she lives. She grew up in Southern California, but moved to Texas 11 years ago. Thank goodness, because she met my daddy here shortly after! Mommy graduated with her Educational Doctorate Degree last year...so now we all get to say, ”This is a house of learn-ed doctors”. (No, I’m not allowed to watch Step Brothers...yet.) I LOVE living the Primrose Life! It's been so good for my speech and language, as well as building my gross motor abilities and academic and social skills. I have Marfan’s Syndrome, which is supposed to give me all sorts of problems, but it doesn't seem to phase me much at all...except for the 4 eye surgeries, which were NOT fun. Other than that, I'm surprising all of my doctors at Texas Children's Hospital by doing really well! Apparently, they are studying me! I am going to be the first documented case of Marfan Syndrom where the mutation appears on a different area of my DNA than anyone else in the research! Yeah, I’m one in a gazillion! If you think of me, please say a little prayer that I can grow as big as possible before I will need heart surgery. Getting me to 5 years old before surgery is the goal right now, since we just got good news at the last check up! So, that's my family! We love to hang out together at home more than anything...spending time outside, swimming in the pool, reading, enjoying Kid’s YouTube, cooking in my kitchen, caring for my baby dolls, and helping my daddy garden and my mommy cook, keeps me pretty busy. Thanks for reading all about me and my family, AND THANK YOU PRIMROSE for being my home away from home. I hope you have a beautiful day! Lots of love, Mila Brynnley Stringer & Family
Maria joined our Primrose family in February 2017 as our assistant teacher in the Young Toddler classroom. She didn’t have experience working in childcare but wow! she was born to teach! She does a fantastic job! The children love her and you can see that she truly loves each one of them and loves her job! Maria and her family moved to Texas from New Mexico four years ago. She has been married to a wonderful man, Jorge, for 16 years and has 3 beautiful daughters, Eli, Jaimie and Zoe. Thank you Maria for all of your hard work and dedication to our school, your peers and to our families! We are honored to have such a wonderful young lady in our Primrose family!

National STEAM Day is November 8 – and it’s no secret that we love STEAM in our Primrose classrooms!
As parents, we often go back and forth on how we feel about dressing our preschooler.
There is no one-size-fits-all approach to early learning, and all of the different options for your little one may seem overwhelming.
You never realize how important alone time and a good night’s sleep are until you don’t have them.
