Information Family of the Month - March 2023

Hi everyone, we are the Johnston family – Sean, Allyssa, Wyatt (4), and Sawyer (3 months)!

Sean and Allyssa are originally from New Jersey but made our way down to Houston in 2016 after a yearlong stop in Michigan. Both our human babies and fur babies (Murphy and Doyle) are Houston natives.

A bit about our crew: Sean is the Regional Vice President of Operations for Power Home Remodeling Group and Allyssa is a Governmental Affairs Coordinator for SCI. Wyatt is a very busy 4 year old – always on the move and ALWAYS asking questions. Being just 3 months old, Sawyer is still developing his personality, but his cheesy toothless grin immediately brings a smile to everyone’s face!

As a family, we love being active and enjoying the outdoors whether it’s bike riding, walking, hiking, hitting the beach or just enjoying the backyard.

We found Primrose after moving further out of the busy city and looking for a school for Wyatt (then 2 ½ years old).  With Allyssa having a background in childhood education, we knew we not only wanted our little one loved and cared for but for him to have positive academic experiences as well. That’s absolutely what we’ve found here at Primrose! We have been so happy with our Primrose journey that we decided to have another son so we could send him here, too. J  Sawyer will be joining the young infant class soon, and we can’t wait to see what our boys’ futures hold as part of the Primrose family.
