Mrs. Ellis is the Director of Primrose School of Cross Creek and holds over 18 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. Mrs. Ellis holds a Child Development Associate, a Director Credential, and is currently in school for her Associate Degree in Business Administration. Her early childhood education career has consisted of teaching in Toddler and Pre-Kindergarten classrooms then Assistant Director and Director.
Mrs. Ellis is the leader of our school and is responsible for all our school operations, which includes staffing, student enrollments, student transitions, parent orientations, and customer service. She also maintains our child care licensing regulations and school accreditations.
Mrs. Wise is the Education Director at Primrose School of Cross Creek. Mrs. Wise holds a Florida Director's Credential and a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education. Mrs. Wise has served as a classroom teacher, as a curriculum coordinator, and as a school director.
Mrs. Wise's experience in different classrooms along with her curriculum and leadership experience makes her a perfect addition to our leadership team to lead and guide our teaching staff.
Mrs. Wise is responsible for all education and curriculum delivery in our classrooms, and ensuring our classrooms and teachers have all of the tools and support they need to deliver our premier curriculum and care to our students and parents. Mrs. Wise is also in charge of the professional development, mentoring, and appreciation of all our wonderful teaching staff.
Our names are Penny and Matt McCallister. As parents of three wonderful children, we know first hand the passion and commitment of providing excellent early education, care and character development to your children. We want to assure you that we will maintain the highest standards as we provide the quality you have come to expect from Primrose Schools.
As a brief introduction, Penny's lifelong passion to care for children led her to be a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with a Master Degree in Nursing, specializing in Pediatrics from the University of Florida. Matt earned a Master Degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida. His career led him to a position where he was able to help provide low-income housing for those in need.
Through parental and work experiences, we recognize that quality early childhood education and care with an emphasis on character development nurtures the foundation for one’s future academic and personal successes. We are impressed by the innovative research-based Balanced Learning® curriculum offered through the Primrose experience.
