I am thankful to be able to teach at a school that values children and families/parents as much as I do. Primrose School of Cottage Grove has the same expectations of high quality care and enrichment that I have personally and professionally. To work with a group of fun, caring, coworkers make teaching at Primrose something I enjoy and look forward to every day.
Being brought on as a teacher here at Primrose, I was brought into a community, a welcoming community of other teachers and supportive educators, who together as a whole value the importance of each individual child’s growth and learning path. You walk inside, and it’s welcoming, you can feel the genuine support this environment holds. I am so grateful and appreciative for all I’ve gotten to experience in my time as a teacher here, I feel they’ve helped me grow as a teacher and getting to share
I have worked for Primrose School of Cottage Grove since they opened. I have worked in many different rooms from Toddlers to Explores. What I like best about working here is the support from management. We are never “on our own”, we always have support when we need it, and a partner that wants the best for the kids just as much as the teachers do. I also love how the school partners with parents helping children reach their fullest potential.
Families from the Cottage Grove, Woodbury, Hastings community attend our School, so we believe it is vital for us to give back to this same community. Whether it's collecting 270 pounds of food for our local food shelf - Friends in Need, hosting our annual Spring Fling charity event, collecting toys for tots, or hosting one of our other community service events, we enjoy working for our community. We just believe it is the right thing to do.We are committing in giving back to the community.
