  • Angella Hart, School Director

    Angella Hart

    School Director

    Ms. Hart has more than 20 years experience in the field of Early Childhood Education. She began preschool teaching after having her first child because she realized the importance of education and socialization for young children. She has also owned a licensed family childcare home and taught preschool in both corporate and non-profit childcare settings. After earning her Bachelors degree, she worked as a Case Manager with children and families in the field of Child Protections. Ms. Hart holds an Advanced level Director Credential from the State of Florida Department of Children and Families. Ms Hart has been very involved in the community including Special Olympics and multiple advisory committees in early childhood development. She has served as a board member of Cub Scouts, Tampa Bay Youth Football, and Hillsborough County Head Start. Ms. Hart has a AS in Business Administration and a BA in Applied Behavioral Science and she is close to completing a dual MA in Child Development and Psychology with Industrial and Organizational specialization. Ms. Hart is also First Aid and CPR trained and has her Commercial Drivers License (CDL).

    Ms. Hart has raised three young men on her own and is a proud grandparent of a granddaughter and grandson. Ms Hart lives nearby in Lutz with her significant other who is an entertainer and who plays guitar and sings in assisted living centers all over Tampa Bay. Together they have a four legged daughter named Tom Brady aka "Brady".

    Ms. Hart is excited to get to know every child and their family here at Primrose School at Collier Parkway. She feels as though every child and family at Primrose is an extension of her own family. Ms. Hart's goal is to provide an excellent education in a safe, nurturing environment where children have fun learning. She is extremely proud that Primrose School at Collier Parkway has earned the highest Accreditation that can be earned by an Early Childhood Education Program, Cognia (Formerly known as AdvancEd with the Southern Association of Schools and Colleges).

  • Lindsey Slotter, Office Manager

    Office Manager

    Mrs. Slotter graduated from the University of Central Florida with a BS in Exercise Science specializing in Physical Education with a minor in Education. Mrs. Slotter has worked in Early Childhood Education since 2011 and she joined our team after working at another Primrose location in Orlando. Mrs. Slotter is constantly taking In-Service hours to stay informed in the field of Early Childhood Education. Additionally, she is CPR and First Aid Certified and has her CDL drivers license.

    Mrs. Slotter, formerly Ms. McHenry, was married in November of 2018 to her husband Eric. In her spare time she enjoys playing and watching sports, especially the Indianapolis Colts, Toronto Blue Jays, and Florida State University. She enjoys movies, books, the outdoors, and visiting new restaurants and fun things around Tampa Bay with friends and family. She also loves the arts and to use her mind creatively. Her goal is to bring a positive attitude to our school and aid its students in educational success!

  • Jodi Ratliff, Education Coach

    Education Coach

    Mrs. Ratliff is our Education Coach at Primrose School at Collier Parkway. She is responsible for making sure our teachers and staff have the materials and knowledge to implement our Primrose curriculum and to be the best we can be for all our students! She is a mother of three and originally from West Virginia. She has earned an associate and bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. She has worked in many different roles in early childhood education including Teacher, Assistant Director and Director. She is very excited to fill a position that combines her two favorite things: teaching and administration.

    While she is not hard at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and trips to Disney, the beach, and Busch Gardens. Mrs. Ratliff lives locally in Land O Lakes and she and her husband are looking forward to becoming empty nesters in the next few years. They love to go out to eat, relaxing and love watching the Redskins play!
