    Brian and Melissa Mart

    Franchise Owners

Meet Brian and Melissa Mart, proud Franchise Owners of Primrose School of Chapel Hill at Briar Chapel. Longtime residents of the Triangle area, the Marts opened their Primrose school in 2016 and are proud to bring the Primrose Experience to children and families in Briar Chapel and Chapel Hill.

The Marts were first introduced to Primrose Schools when they were searching for an early education and care provider for their daughter. After enrolling her at a local Primrose school in the Triangle area when she was just three months old, they were impressed by the growth and skills she quickly developed thanks to the Primrose Balanced Learning ® curriculum.

After 20 years in corporate America, the Marts were ready to begin their entrepreneurial journey in a field that allowed them to spend more time with their daughter and give back to the community. After years of seeing the passion, joy and community impact the Franchise Owners at their daughter’s Primrose school had, they realized opening a Primrose school would be the business venture they had always desired to pursue.

"Starting a Primrose school in our community has been a wonderful opportunity to do something we are passionate about, while providing premier early education and care for local families. Our goal is to offer parents an atmosphere where they can have peace of mind that their children are safe and happy while receiving a quality education. This is more than just a business to us, it is a family of staff, students and parents all working together to forge a better future for all children."
