Information Family of the Month - June 2017

Mark and Katie Carney, along with their daughters Emily (PK) and Natalie (TODDS) are our Family of the Month for June.

Katie writes: "We have been a part of the Primrose family since our oldest daughter was 10 weeks old (2012). We started at a Primrose location in Fort Worth and absolutely loved it. When I found out we were going to be relocated back to Houston for work, I immediately knew I wanted Emily to stay in the Primrose family. Unfortunately, we had to be put on a wait list and the 2 months that Emily was with another school were the absolute worst. Once there was an opening and Emily started attending Primrose Champions, her disposition immediately changed while at school. She was all smiles and would reach for her infant teachers when dropping her off. As she progresses through the different classes it’s obvious that EVERY teacher takes a genuine interest in her education, well-being, and overall happiness.

When we found out I was pregnant with our second daughter Natalie, there was no doubt where she would be going. She started in the infant room when she was 14 weeks old and the amount of care and love that was showered upon her provided an immense amount of comfort to us. Leaving your new baby is one of the hardest experiences we’ve ever faced, however, knowing she was in such capable and loving hands made it slightly easier. Watching her go through the toddler classes and learning new experiences has been an awesome experience. One of the greatest joys I find throughout my day is getting surprise photos of what she’s doing in class.

We are so fortunate to have found Primrose. I truly feel that one of the reasons our girls our thriving educationally and socially are because of this school. There is no hesitation dropping them off each day, because both of them are literally running to their classroom doors to get the day started. For this we are grateful."
