    My name is Megan Buitrago and I am excited to join Primrose school. I have been in the child care field for over twenty-five years, working with children of all ages. I have worked as a teacher all the way up to being the director of child care programs. I am currently in school to finish my Master’s degree in special education and currently hold a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development. When I am not working I love spending time with my husband and our thirteen year old son who keeps me busy.I am looking forward to getting to know all of the families of our school and look forward to my future here at Primrose Schools.

    My name is Hallee Jones and I’m originally from Fairfax, VA , but I have been living in Norfolk since 2019. I absolutely love all DC sports teams! Football has been my favorite sport all my life, I love watching college and professional. I have two younger brothers who mean everything to me and a 4 year old Goldendoodle named Cupcake Doodle. I attended Northern Virginia Community College for early childhood education and development. I transferred to Regent University for the Early Childhood Education program and that’s what brought me down to the Hampton Roads area! I have been working in a preschool setting since 2017. I am so excited for this opportunity to become the Education Coach with Primrose!

    My name is Charlotte Parks. I am the 2nd of 5 children. I have 2 grown children, Adam and Rebekah and a grandson Gage who live in Missouri. I was raised on a dairy farm in Maryland. Our family worked together to milk cows, raise calves, prepare fields for crops as I learned and was provided love, guidance, support and the importance of family.

    I decided when I was in the 6th grade to become a teacher when I was asked to tutor an assist younger students in reading. This experience gave me such a great feeling to help others and be part of their positive growth and joy at learning life skills. I attended colleges in Maryland and Missouri to earn an Associates of Arts in Education, Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education, and Master's of Arts in Education.

    During my free time, I enjoy reading, walking, doing puzzles and suduko, attending church, and spending time with family and friends.

    Claudia Macon (pictured left): I graduated from Old Dominion University with a B.S. in Finance, and a M.B.A. degree. I have spent the past 26 years working in higher education at Tidewater Community College, the second largest community college in Virginia. Additionally, I also proudly serve as a Captain in the United States Navy Reserves, with 28 years of service. I am a Board Member of the Great Bridge/Hickory Family YMCA and a Member of the Chesapeake Chamber Women's Division. I manage the school's business administration and educational curriculum.

    Tonya Gill (pictured right): I graduated from Virginia Wesleyan College with a B.A. in Business. After nineteen (19) years of dedicated service, many of those years serving the Chesapeake Community, I left a long term position with the United Way of South Hampton Roads as Senior Director of Resource Development to become the onsite owner of the Cahoon Commons location.
