  • Mrs. Peaches Rocheford, President

    President

    As the President, Mrs. Rocheford is a key player between the Primrose School of Burlington, Primrose School of Chelmsford, and the Primrose School of Woburn. Mrs. Rocheford is responsible for ensuring the operations of the schools are running efficiently and effectively for the parents, children, and faculty in order to produce a premium school experience.

    Mrs. Rocheford began her career with Primrose School of Burlington in 2014, six months after the school opened their doors. Her primary role was to design new systems, practices, and policies in a fast growing new school as well as ensuring the families, children, and faculty were satisfied with the program overall. Mrs. Rocheford then moved into the marketing and recruitment role where she produced events to market the school to the community and hired amazing early education professionals. In early 2020, Mrs. Rocheford took on the responsibilities of Principal at the Burlington location, while still holding the promise of recruitment. In August of 2021, Mrs. Rocheford handed over the reins to Ms. Kate Latham as the new Principal at Burlington and now is the President of all locations.

    Mrs. Rocheford has a wealth of knowledge across the business organization and is committed to ensuring that the children are well-cared, the faculty are supported and well-trained, and the parents are satisfied.

  • Ms. Kate Latham, Head of Education and Community Relations

    Ms. Kate Latham

    Head of Education and Community Relations

    Ms. Kate Latham began her career at Primrose in 2016 as a teacher. In 2023 she became the Head of Education and Community Relations for the Primrose School of Burlington, Primrose School of Chelmsford, and Primrose School of Woburn. Prior to holding this role, she was Principal of the Primrose School of Burlington.

    Ms. Latham earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education from Endicott College and later a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Western Governor’s University. She joined the Primrose configuration with extensive background in public Elementary Education, Special Education and Education Administration. With well over a decade of experience in the field and extensive education, Ms. Latham is an integral part of our mission to be the best preschools in New England.

    As a mother of a Primrose student herself, Ms. Latham is committed to creating the best experience possible for each student. She partners closely with our families to ensure that every child is set up for success during, and beyond their time at Primrose. It is her goal that each child who graduates from our school be academically ahead of their peers but also very socially and emotionally mature. She works in partnership with the public school systems in the area to make sure that every Primrose graduate ends up in the spot where they will continue to be most successful.

  • Mrs. Lori Barrett, Principal

    Principal

    Mrs. Lori Barrett brings an impressive 15-year track record in the field of Early Childhood Education. Her journey with Primrose began in 2014. She started as a devoted Pre-Kindergarten teacher, where her passion for nurturing young minds was immediately evident. Mrs. Barrett's leadership potential shone through, propelling her through various roles within the school's leadership team. She has served as a Client and Faculty Coordinator, and as the School Operations Director, bringing a wealth of experience and dedication to each position. Mrs. Barrett earned her B.A in Child Development with a minor in marketing from Walden University during her time with us. 

    As a leader, Lori is characterized by her impeccable organization, an unassuming humility, and a serious commitment to her responsibilities. She sets the highest standards for equity and fairness, ensuring that every decision reflects these principles. Her leadership serves as a guiding light for her colleagues and the entire school community. As our Principal, Lori Barrett is driven by an unwavering commitment to provide a premium educational experience for our students, foster strong bonds with parents, and support the growth and development of our dedicated faculty. Her vision and dedication make her an invaluable leader within our school community, ensuring that every child's journey at Primrose is filled with the promise of excellence.

     

  • Mrs. Alicia Vorster, Director of School Operations

    Director of School Operations

    Mrs. Alicia Vorster has been with Primrose Schools since 2020 and began in our school as a kindergarten teacher where she developed strong relationships with students and partnered with parents to provide an uncommon experience. 

    Mrs. Vorster is the School Operations Director at Primrose School of Burlington. Mrs. Vorster oversees compliance and ensure that we are constantly meeting all state and Primrose regulations and policies. When she is not working on classroom health and safety checks or the upkeep of our facility, she is focused on helping to develop our kindergarten teachers and faculty support teachers into experts.

    Mrs. Vorster earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education with a minor in ABA from Endicott College as well as a Master’s Degree in Special Education, also from Endicott College. With extensive education and experience in the field, Mrs. Vorster is an integral part of our mission to be the best preschool in New England.

    Ms. Taylor Bamford began her Primrose journey in October of 2021 and very quickly made her mark. With a profound background in educational psychology, holding a Bachelor's degree from Suffolk University, Ms. Bamford brings a wealth of insight to our Leadership Team. 

    As our Client and Faculty Coordinator, Ms. Bamford is an expert in cultivating strong parent partnerships and fostering positive relationships within our community. Her strategic approach to nurturing these partnerships ensures that our clients and faculty receive the utmost support and encouragement both inside and outside the classroom. Her heartfelt investment in the growth and well-being of our clients and faculty truly sets her apart.

    Ms. Bamford’s journey is more than a career—it's a vocation driven by a passion for education and creating meaningful connections. We're proud to have Ms. Bamford on board as an invaluable asset, enriching our company with her unique blend of expertise, dedication, and care. 

  • Mrs. Shana Chacon, Faculty Development Coordinator

    Faculty Development Coordinator

    Mrs. Shana Chacon began her journey with Primrose School of Burlington from opening day back in April 2014. Shana earned her B.A. degree in Early Childhood Education and Psychology in 2011 and since dedicated her career to educating young minds. 

    During her years at Primrose, Shana has successfully worked with all ages from infancy to kindergarten to become an expert in curriculum implementation, classroom management, classroom organization, and parent partnerships. 

    Shana has successfully trained over 85 faculty members. As the Faculty Development Coordinator, Shana is producing new opportunities for faculty which include helping them move from the daycare tradition to becoming a professional early childhood educator. Since becoming the Faculty Development Coordinator in January of 2021 she has trained countless faculty and helped them produce new skills and competencies. Mrs. Chacon's ultimate ambition is to oversee all future Faculty Development Coordinators of the Van Emon schools and continues to learn and strive to be the best offer of help to all faculty.

    Chef

    Mr. Christian Molle is our School Chef. He has been working in the food services field for the past 9 years – as an Executive Pastry Chef, Pastry Instructor, etc. He brings a creativity and care to menus and meals making them nutritious as well as fun and appealing to children. He is rigorous at tracking all allergies and food restrictions and insures children only eat what they are allowed. Mr. Molle is warm-hearted and loved by all the children as he delivers the meals to them each and every day

    Ms. Yamilex Figueroa joined our infant team following her tenure at a local daycare, where she gained over a year of invaluable experience working in the infant classroom. Possessing certification from the state of Massachusetts to teach infants, toddlers, and preschool-age children, Ms. Figueroa showcases a profound commitment to early childhood education.

    Ms. Figueroa's remarkable blend of a vibrant and uplifting personality makes her an exceptional infant teacher. She thrives on making meaningful connections with the children under her care, consistently working to provide them with engaging, hands-on experiences throughout their days. Her dedication to her profession led her to seek a long-term teaching commitment, which she discovered in our school.

    Motivated by her passion for growth and continuous improvement, Ms. Figueroa eagerly embraces the opportunity to further her professional development wih us. She is slated to join our cohort to pursue Lead Teacher certification.

    Ms. Jatavia Mitchell became a valued member of our infant team in December 2022. Exhibiting an exceptional level of dedication and a warm personality, Ms. Mitchell excels as an infant teacher. She wholeheartedly embraces the opportunity to form meaningful connections with the children under her care, fostering a safe, nurturing and engaging environment. Her enthusiasm is further amplified by the alignment of her personal beliefs and our mission statement, making her thrilled to be part of a company that shares her vision.

    Ms. Lillian Bartlett became a member of the Primrose School of Burlington in August 2023, taking on the important role of a school-wide support faculty member and quickly transitioned into the role of one of our infant teachers. Drawn by the shared values and ethics of Primrose, Ms. Bartlett embraced the opportunity to contribute to a community that resonates with her personal beliefs.

    A graduate of UVM with a BA in Food Systems, Ms. Bartlett's academic background is a testament to her commitment to holistic well-being. This dedication aligns perfectly with Primrose's approach to nurturing not only academic growth but also social, emotional, and physical development.

    Ms. Sade Warren became a member of Primrose School of Burlington in August 2023, stepping into the significant role of an infant support faculty member. The school's dedication to maintaining high standards in teaching and learning motivated Ms. Warren to become a part of the Primrose community.

    With a recent BA in Vocal Performance from Berklee, Ms. Warren's academic journey took an exciting turn as she embraced the world of early childhood education. Her diverse background brings a unique perspective to her role, allowing her to approach infant care and development with creativity and innovation.

    Ms. Crystal Rose joined the Primrose School of Burlington in August 2023 in the role as a school-wide faculty support member. With a heartfelt passion for working with young children and a strong desire to contribute to a positive and nurturing learning community, Ms. Rose found her place within the Primrose family.

    Currently on a path to obtaining her BA in Child Psychology, Ms. Rose's academic pursuits reflect her dedication to understanding child development and psychology. This knowledge equips her with insights that she can use to provide effective and empathetic support to the children she interacts with.

    Mx. Aden Kelley became a member of our team in February 2023, assuming the role of a Faculty Support Teacher. With a background in working with elementary and middle school students, Mx. Kelley brings a diverse range of experiences and insights to our school community. Their decision to join Primrose stems from the remarkable reputation of our work culture and their shared commitment to preparing children for success in the future. They will be moving into a toddler teacher role for the 2023-2024 school year!

    In line with our community's values, Mx. Kelley believes in empowering children to embrace their unique strengths and talents. They actively foster a spirit of problem-solving and critical thinking, guiding students to discover their own innovative solutions. Mx.     Ms. Roshmija Biswas joined the PSOB team in March 2022 as a Support Teacher and quickly moved into a teaching role in the Toddler wing.  Ms. Biswas joined us after hearing wonderful things about our community from her mother who is also a faculty member with us! Ms. Biswas was looking for a place where she could share her ideas and be creative and we could not be happier to welcome her! We are delighted to have Ms. Biswas contribute her unique ideas and creativity to our team.

    Equipped with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from The University of Calcutta, Ms. Biswas brings a diverse range of experiences to her role. Since August 2022, she has been a dedicated lead teacher, specializing in working with toddlers. Prior to her start with us, Ms. Biswas spent two years at a counseling service, further enhancing her understanding of child development.

    Ms. Biswas thrives on building strong relationships with her students and their families, cherishing the opportunity to create meaningful bonds with each of them. Her commitment lies in fostering a fun and welcoming classroom environment, where children are encouraged to explore, discover, and express their creativity.

    With over 10 years of experience babysitting children, Ms. Kanan brings a wealth of practical knowledge and a deep understanding of child care.     Ms. Lexi Peterson is a valuable member of our team, joining us in May 2022 as our Toddler Faculty Support. Demonstrating her exceptional skills and dedication, she transitioned to the role of a Room 5 teacher on July 1st of the same year. With 8 years of experience working with young children and being a mother herself, Ms. Peterson brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep understanding of early childhood development to our program. 

    Certified by the state to teach infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, Ms. Peterson is driven by her passion to make a positive difference in the lives of children. She recognizes the critical role that the first few years play in a child's development and is committed to providing them with a nurturing and stimulating environment. Her unwavering focus and determination have enabled her to quickly adapt to the Primrose way, embracing our core values and educational philosophy.

    Ms. Peterson's exceptional work ethic and warm demeanor have earned her the admiration of her colleagues and the affection of the children in her care.     Mrs. Christie Chrisosthomme joined our Early Pre-School Wing as a dedicated Room 6 teacher in January of 2023. With a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from UMass Boston and previous experience as a behavioral therapist for children aged 2-10, Mrs. Chrisosthomme brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her role. It was the strong sense of community she discovered that drew her to Primrose as she embarked on a career change.

    Driven by her deep interest in child development, Mrs. Chrisosthomme is committed to understanding each child as a unique individual. She recognizes the importance of tailoring her instruction to meet the specific needs and abilities of her students. By differentiating her teaching approach, she ensures that each child receives the necessary support to be challenged and empowered on their individual journey toward becoming the best version of themselves.

    Ms. Subhra Biswas became a valued member of the PSOB team in August 2022, joining us as a School Wide Faculty Support Teacher. Her journey to Primrose was guided by recommendations from friends who spoke highly of our institution, prompting her to choose Primrose to further her career in early childhood education. Prior to her time in the United States, Ms. Biswas dedicated her expertise to teaching in India, honing her skills and knowledge in the field. She earned her degree from the esteemed University of Burdwan in India.

    Ms. Biswas's genuine love for children and unwavering dedication make her a perfect fit for our school community. Her innate eagerness to learn and lend a helping hand shines through as she actively engages in various classrooms, offering support and assistance wherever and whenever it is needed. Ms. Biswas's passion for personal growth within the realm of early childhood education drives her to continually expand her skills and knowledge.     Ms. Clegg brings with her a wealth of experience in working with children, including a unique stint as an au pair in China. Prior to joining our team, she served as a preschool teacher for three years, acquiring valuable insights and skills in nurturing young minds. Her commitment to providing the highest quality of education is reflected in her state certification to teach infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.

    Ms. Lisa Masse joined the Primrose team in May of 2021, bringing with her six years of valuable experience working with young children in various private and group settings. With an Associate's Degree in Education and state certification to teach infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, Ms. Masse embodies a deep commitment to early childhood development and education.

    Known for her unwavering positivity, Ms. Masse radiates an upbeat and bubbly attitude that creates a welcoming and joyful environment in her classroom. She effortlessly forms fantastic relationships with each of her students, recognizing the importance of building strong connections based on trust and understanding.
