Primrose School would love to meet your family.
Schedule A TourYou can find magic wherever you look. Sit back and relax, all you need is a book. – Dr. Seuss
Leading up to Dr. Seuss’ birthday on March 2, Primrose children and families read together at home, shared favorite stories with classmates and participated in a month-long book drive through one of our Primrose PromiseSM Giving Events, Og’s Bountiful Books. The event is intended to raise awareness of the importance of early literacy and increase access to books for children in our community.
This year, we were thrilled to collect and donate books Ronald McDonald House of Durham & Wake. Thanks to our teachers, staff, students and families who helped us make a difference in our community!
We also celebrated Read Across America Day by hosting two special guest readers: meteorologist Lee Ringer of Spectrum News and Officer Martin of the Raleigh Police Department. The children loved meeting our visitors and listening to the stories!
As part of our Primrose Balanced Learning® approach, we nurture early literacy skills and giving without expectation in our classrooms every day. At Primrose, we believe who children become is as important as what they know. Og’s Bountiful Books is just one example of how we bring the joy of giving to life for children.
