The Apple of Our Eye for the month of August is Ms. Cynthia Payne. Cynthia is a native Houstonian and graduated from Cypress Ranch High School. She was excited to join our staff when we first opened and to have the opportunity to learn and grow in her role as a teacher of young children.
Cynthia is a busy mother of a one year old son named Caden who is the light of her life. They especially like spending time playing outside, as well as watching movies together. In her opinion, being a mother is the best thing in the world.
As a child, Cynthia’s theatrical side enjoyed being in choir and participating in school plays. She remembers winning an elementary school science fair with a project about melting ice. Butterflies are on her list of things she loves because she has fond memories of going to the Science Museum with her father where she could be in an enclosure full of monarch butterflies with her favorite person.
“CiCi”, as she is known by her students, is a teacher in the Toddler 2 class. She is calm and patient in all that she does and shows a genuine love for the children in her care. Her classroom is full of happy little faces. She is eager to accept direction and suggestions from others and continues to grow and become a better teacher each and every day. Cynthia says that she loves working here, and we certainly love having her as part of our Primrose team!
