See What Families Are Saying

Primrose School of Bee Cave has helped my child’s brain development. He now knows very much about education and child activities, and they have taken good care of him. We are so thankful. From scale 0 to 10, I give it 10.

My son has been a student at the Primrose School of Bee Cave for 2 years and we could not be more pleased withhis educational experience. When we drop Wilder off we are always greeted warmly by themanagement and his teachers. We are also very pleased with the menu choices that Primrose offers their students. My husband I and do not allow Wilder to have high fructose corn syrup and we were thrilled to learn that Primrose does not serve it either.

Being a first-time parent is hard especially letting go and entrusting someone else with your child who is your entire world. My son started at six weeks old, and he enjoys every moment of school. From his curriculum updates to seeing his pictures of pure joy all over his face makes me feel better while I am away.

Primrose School of Bee Cave was the very first Primrose school to open in Austin, and it’s been welcoming families for 27 years and counting.

That kind of longevity means generations of local families have grown up trusting us with their children’s earliest years, and our teachers bring decades of combined experience to every classroom.

Doors at Primrose School of Bee Cave are open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

We observe major holidays, including New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day after, plus Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

We also close for Presidents Day, an In-Service Day each second Friday in August and a few additional days around the winter holidays. We would recommend checking our published calendar when planning ahead.

Yes, Primrose School of Bee Cave is Cognia® accredited, an Approved Child Care Aware® Provider and Texas Rising Star certified, reflecting our commitment to providing a high-quality early learning and care experience for every child.

These recognitions mean our curriculum, teaching practices, health and safety procedures and family partnerships are regularly evaluated against outside standards and re-evaluated on an ongoing basis to stay current.

Accreditation is an ongoing process of continuous improvement that helps ensure we deliver a nurturing, engaging and high-quality learning environment where children can thrive.

We follow the Balanced Learning® approach, exclusively developed by Primrose Schools®, to nurture the whole child intellectually, physically, socially and emotionally.

Through Balanced Learning®, our dedicated teachers create engaging learning experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, confidence and compassion.

By thoughtfully blending purposeful play, guided discovery and nurturing support, we help your child build the skills to learn, grow and thrive, from our Infant classroom through Kindergarten.

Each day, our caring teachers combine structured learning, purposeful play and rest into a rhythm suited to every age group, integrated with circle time, small-group lessons, Children’s Choice Learning Centers, meals and rest.

At our school, children also enjoy our exclusive Primrose Enrichment Programs, including Mindful Movement with Mia℠, along with additional enrichment experiences like cooking, robotics and sports activities that inspire creativity, confidence and new skills.

School readiness begins in our Infant program and grows through every stage of our Balanced Learning® approach, with each year building the academic, social-emotional and life skills children need for future success.

Using balanced assessments and ongoing teacher observations, we monitor each child’s development, individualize learning experiences and partner with families through regular communication to support a confident transition to kindergarten and beyond.

Not at all. Our teachers partner one-on-one with each family to support the process at a pace that works for your child. This keeps things consistent between home and school.

Yes, Primrose School of Bee Cave has age-appropriate climbing structures and standard play areas, giving children daily outdoor play as part of their regular schedule.

Our playgrounds are carefully monitored to ensure children can explore, play and learn safely. Our staff remain actively involved in children’s play experiences, perform daily safety checks and maintain constant supervision.

With daily safety inspections, ongoing environmental monitoring and weather-related precautions, we help create a secure outdoor experience for every child.

Yes! Our Explorer Program is available to families who drop their child off directly with us.

After school, your child heads straight into homework time, and there’s still plenty of the afternoon left for outdoor play before we close at 6:30 p.m.

Yes, at Primrose School of Bee Cave, our on-site chef prepares lunch and snacks fresh each day in our own culinary kitchen, all part of our Balanced Menus.

Our lunch menus include favorites like pizza with steamed and cut green beans and bananas, fish sticks with cream corn and diced mandarins, chicken Alfredo with broccoli and mixed fruit or turkey wraps with peas and applesauce. These give children variety and proper nutrition throughout the week.

All foods and meals prepared at Primrose School of Bee Cave are age-appropriate.

We stay in close communication with families about any changes, so there’s never any guesswork about what’s on your child’s plate.

Our kitchen is set up to accommodate gluten, wheat and celiac needs, peanut and tree nut allergies, milk and dairy allergies, egg allergies and vegetarian and vegan diets, with age-appropriate swaps like dairy-free cream cheese or soft alternatives for infants and toddlers built right into the weekly menu.

Our Balanced Learning® approach is designed to meet children where they are. Teachers adapt activities, instruction and support to match each child’s developmental stage and learning needs.

Through purposeful play and nurturing guidance, we help every child build confidence and grow at their own pace.

For families working with outside early intervention or special education providers, our teachers welcome ongoing communication to help support the child’s experience in the classroom.

Yes, every team member completes a detailed background check before joining our school and maintains current CPR and first-aid certification.

Primrose School of Bee Cave maintains teacher-to-child ratios that meet or fall below the requirements of the Texas Health and Human Services Child Care Regulation for every age group.

Smaller ratios mean more one-on-one attention, so teachers have time to get to know your child individually.

Primrose School of Bee Cave is licensed and regulated by Texas Health and Human Services, which sets requirements for staff qualifications, health and safety and classroom ratios.

We are also Cognia® accredited, an Approved Child Care Aware® Provider and Texas Rising Star certified, additional layers of independent evaluation beyond state licensing.

Yes, at Primrose School of Bee Cave medication administration is handled by our school leadership, who are trained to respond quickly and safely to each child’s needs.

For any child with medical needs, leadership keeps an individualized care plan on file, so they know exactly how to respond.

Every Primrose classroom follows a Safe School Plan designed to help our team respond calmly and quickly whenever the need arises.

Staff and children practice these drills monthly, and the plan stays continually updated to keep families informed.

We use an app to keep families connected throughout the day by sharing photos, classroom activities, curriculum information, nap updates and diaper change and bathroom visit notifications.

The app also offers two-way communication, making it easy to stay in touch with your child’s teachers.

We value open, ongoing communication and connect with families in person during drop-off and pick-up to discuss your child’s day, answer questions and share observations from the classroom.
