Stephanie and Brandon Lammers, along with their daughters, Audrey and Kadence, are our October Family of the Month. Stephanie writes, “Our Primrose journey began when our oldest daughter, Audrey, was about to turn one in 2012. Sadly, we were not enrolled at Primrose initially, and we were struggling with our current daycare provider’s lack of communication and poor management of their facility. As we began seeking other options, I received an immense amount of positive feedback about Primrose. When I came for a tour unannounced, I knew that I had high expectations, but was immediately impressed by the friendliness of the office staff and their willingness to spend the time to answer all my questions. I also found that the curriculum, when compared to other options, was more robust and well-rounded. When our second daughter, Kadence, was born in 2013, she started in Ms. Kaye’s class and both of our girls have had such wonderful and caring teachers as they have developed and progressed through the classrooms.
It is obvious to me that Primrose truly cares about their families and is always seeking to improve their childhood development services. I like that they request feedback from each family on how we think they are doing in the annual survey, and I feel like they truly welcome suggestions and value our opinions. It is also nice to see that they have implemented more teacher development initiatives like adding teacher in-service days twice per year and hosting annual recognition awards for the teachers. Ms. Georgia and her excellent office team deserve immense credit for the time and effort they spend to relieve the stress of working parents by providing a safe and fun atmosphere that cultivates learning. Every member of the office team has bent over backwards, at one time or another, to assist and address any concerns my husband or I have had regarding our girls in a timely manner. The environment is so welcoming that it still amazes me that I can walk in the door and Primrose staff I have never seen before will say “hi” to my children by name, and my girls run to them for hugs. Because we have had great experiences like this, it is easy to recommend Primrose to others looking for the perfect place to nurture their child.
Now that my oldest daughter has begun Kindergarten in public school, it is evident that she is well prepared. Primrose has helped her understand the expectations when involved in small and large group learning, and because of this, she has easily adapted to her new classroom routine in public school. Primrose has exceeded our expectations as a child care provider, and I can confidently say choosing Primrose for our girls was a “no-brainer”. We have been happily a part of the Primrose family for almost 5 years and look forward to many more.”
