Kemba and Frederick Black, along with their children, Hunter, Frederick, and Noah are our Family of the Month for November. Kemba writes, “Ten years ago, we had to make the decision about the care of our firstborn son when we returned to work. We ultimately decided on Primrose School because of the school’s record of providing a comprehensive curriculum and high standard of care for its students.
Primrose of Barker Cypress was a good location for us, and it was readily apparent upon meeting with the administrative team, that the staff at Primrose Barker Cypress was highly committed to the education, safety, and personal growth of their students.
When our third son was born, the decision about his care was far from agonizing. Indeed, it was comforting to know that all our children would be cared for in a school with warm, compassionate, and competent caregivers. Our time with Primrose Barker Cypress over the past 6 years has truly been a wonderful experience.
One of the things which we have appreciated most is the prompt and frequent communication we have received from the school. Whether notification of illness or safe arrival to a field trip destination, reminders of forms due, or the rapid implementation of an enhanced safety protocol due to the COVID19 pandemic, we are kept updated and informed of relevant events. Teachers and staff are consistently professional and do not hesitate to pause to address any question or concern expressed. We are grateful for the opportunity to have had our children cared for by the Primrose Barker Cypress team. They have flourished during their time in this school. We look forward to continued partnership with Primrose Barker Cypress to nourish our children and support their ongoing development!”
