Sharon and David Romero, along with their children, Ethan and Mia, are our November Family of the Month. Sharon writes, “Our journey began eight years ago when our son, Ethan, was two. We actually started at two other day care centers, before coming to Primrose. We had some issues with each of them, so we continued to look for the right school for our family. That is when we found Primrose, and they have been our family ever since! I love that they always give off a warm and fuzzy family feeling each time we walk through the doors at Primrose.
When our son Ethan graduated from Pre-K, I was sad, because I thought we were saying our goodbyes to Primrose, our second family. Little did we know that we would have another surprise—our daughter, Mia! I remember when I called to enroll her. I was so scared I was going to hear new voices, but to my relief, I heard Ms. Georgia’s voice over the phone. She said that the first opening in the Infant room would be in January—the month when Mia would be born. Needless to say, I quickly filled out the forms to reserve our spot!
What we love about Primrose is that they have always treated our family like we are a part of their family. Most of the staff is still here eight years later, and even the new faces have been a breath of fresh air. All of the teachers and staff make it a point to know each child and family by name. They truly care, and genuinely want to insure that our children get the best education while being loved and encouraged. The front office staff has gone above and beyond for my family. They have always been so understanding of all of our circumstances and always work with us—even our shortcomings! They know I am a procrastinator (even with this letter!) but always understand!
So this year, 2016-2017, is going to be a very emotional one for our family as we have to say farewell to our friends. I don’t know how we will say goodbye to such a fabulous group, but I know that if my kids ever want to stop in, the staff at Primrose will remember them by name and greet them with hugs!
We are truly blessed to have found Primrose and blessed to have Primrose been our family and home for the past eight years. We couldn’t have asked for a more loving group of people to teach, love and care for our children. We will forever be grateful.”
