Pam and Brian Ledesma, along with their children, Xander, Jacob and Mia, are our Family of the Month for March. Pam writes, “We joined the Primrose experience about 4 years ago as we enrolled our oldest son, Xander, when he was about 14 months old. After visiting Primrose Barker Cypress, we couldn’t imagine sending our first born anywhere else. As time went by, we added Jacob to our crew in 2014. Truth be told, we didn’t act quick enough when I was pregnant with Jacob to put him on the Infant waiting list, so we had to leave the school and enrolled in not only one, but in two other Primrose locations. Although at that time, those locations were closer to work and more convenient, they truly didn’t compare to Barker Cypress. We were concerned because the boys were not too happy and had less self- confidence. We came back to Primrose Barker Cypress and saw a difference almost immediately. The retention, knowledge and passion of each individual working here set them apart from the other locations and ultimately reflected positively in our boys. Fast forward a couple of months, and we found out we were expecting a third child. This time, we didn’t hesitate in putting ourselves on the Infant class waiting list. Mia joined the Primrose family, and we could not be more pleased with the genuine love, care and compassion we received from the teachers and the entire staff. As parents, we enjoy all the teachers, kitchen staff and administrators knowing our children by name. We love the Tadpole photo updates, weekly emails and year round family fun! We asked the boys what their favorite thing about the school is. Xander responded, “Learning math, as well as the teachers and friends”. Jacob said, “The playground and his friends”.
People always ask where our kids go to daycare, and most of the time I stop and clarify that we send our children to more than a daycare….it’s a school. We have been through a lot with Primrose—dropping off our first baby with both Mom and Xander crying non-stop for about a week, potty training, getting ready for a new baby, an emergency room visit and so much more. We love being part of the Primrose Barker Cypress Family and can’t imagine life without them.”
