Primrose School would love to meet your family.
Schedule A TourLauren and Aaron Woody, along with their children Cora, Cameron, and Cole, are our Family of the Month for July. Lauren writes, “We moved to Cypress in July 2018 when our daughter Cora was 18 months old. Primrose School of Barker Cypress happened to be the first of several tours that we made looking for an area daycare. The bar was set high after that visit, and the decision came quite easily comparing the options in the area. We were especially impressed that Primrose looked at our daughter’s time with them as time to learn and grow, rather than just daycare. We have been calling it “school” ever since.
We also could not believe how many activities were held during the summer months when we started, and the incredible menu offered to the kids each day. We found those first couple of years to be incredible growing years for our daughter, as her teachers and administrators helped us navigate the path from an affectionate toddler to a gregarious little girl. Mastering the sippy cup to conquering the toilet training…they probably deserve most of the credit!
In April 2019 we welcomed twin boys, Cameron and Cole, to the family, the younger of which would require dedicated care for special needs. Primrose worked with us to make sure that his care needs would be met, and we developed a plan to progress him through the classes at the pace that his developmental progress allowed. They worked with us to allow his therapists to see him at school, adding flexibility to our homelife, and were even excited to learn from the therapy sessions themselves. It is even quite common to find a teacher working through his therapy exercises 1-on-1 when we come to pick him up. We were so pleased with Primrose’s openness to our family’s needs, and their willingness to work with our ever-changing schedule. We continue to see excellent progress and will be forever grateful for the care provided. It is hard to describe the value of knowing we could trust Primrose with Cole.
Our son Cameron has had the unfortunate role of coming to school at very irregular durations due to the pandemic and our work schedules. He is back full time, and you can see a difference in his happiness entering the building immediately. All three of our kids love coming to school every day, to see their friends and their teachers. Primrose School of Barker Cypress has really helped all our kids make friends, embrace boundaries, and set a tone for their future education. Thank you all!”
