Carrie and Nicholas Conner, along with their children, Sarah and Christopher, are our Family of the Month for January. Carrie writes, “We remember the day when we first visited the Primrose School of Barker Cypress—it was “camo day” at the school. As overwhelmed new parents, choosing a place for our children seemed intimidating amongst everything else, so we wanted to ensure that we picked the right place that worked for us. However, the minute we walked into Primrose, we were greeted by everyone at the front desk, and we had a great feeling that this was the place where our children needed to be. They gave us a tour and talked with us about our concerns and answered our questions. When we walked into the infant room, one of the ladies mentioned that Primrose promoted sign language with the babies. We had loved the idea for our kids, and we were happy that baby signs would also be used at daycare.
Now having two kids enrolled here at Primrose, we truly appreciate everything that the teachers and staff have done for our kids over the few years we have been a part of the Primrose family. The teachers and staff love our babies as if they were their own by teaching them and making sure to keep parents informed of their daily activities. Communication about our kids throughout the day with pictures is a great way for us to see how our kids are enjoying their activities. Our oldest has made a lot of friends in the 2 years she has been here, and we hope that both of our children make many more lifelong friends. We feel that this is one of the best places to let our kids grow, learn and make friendships, while giving us the peace of mind during the day that our kids are in the right place.”
