Our teachers and caregivers are trained, ready and excited to help spark lightbulb moments for your child. We invite you to visit and see our Balanced Learning approach in action
Meet Brad and Christine Thompson and Kurtis and Michelle Parks - the proud owners of the Primrose School of Ballwin. These two couples believe strongly in the Primrose commitment to developing the whole child. They are honored to bring a premier early education experience to families living in West County.
Christine and Michelle are educators, sisters and West County residents who are looking forward to changing the lives of children in their own community. Together they hold over fifteen years of teaching experience. Their strong understanding and value for education led them to their desire to open their own Primrose School.
Both families place a strong value on education, which led them to have a deep appreciation for the balanced learning approach that combines purposeful play and nurturing guidance. They were also drawn to the Primrose belief that, who a child becomes is as important as what a child knows, which is emphasized in the thoughtful character education program that is unique to Primrose Schools.
Christine and Brad Thompson have three children and they are looking forward to watching their children flourish in the Primrose environment both in the preschool and explorer programs. Their family enjoys traveling, exploring new places in St. Louis and being an active part of the Ballwin community.
Michelle and Kurtis Parks are recently married and live in Wildwood. They enjoy being outdoors and love the hands-on curriculum Primrose provides. They look forward to building a school that their children will one day learn and grow in.
The Thompson and Parks families are excited to bring this premier educational experience to the children in the West County area. We would love for you to be a part of our Primrose family and help your children build Active Minds, Healthy Bodies and Happy Hearts.
We are conveniently located at the intersection of Manchester Road and Holloway Road, right next to Target and minutes away from Vlasis Park. Unlike an ordinary daycare in Ballwin, we provide your child with a robust early education and child care experience.
Infant, Toddler, Early preschool, Preschool, Pre-kindergarten, After school
At Primrose, your child will get more than an infant daycare experience. Our teachers help your child develop and grow, building one skill upon another, which is why we are the leader in infant child care.
Congratulations to our 2022 Pre-Kindergarten Graduates!
Our Balanced Learning® approach weaves in character development and life skills into daily learning experiences because we believe who children become is as important as what they know.
Thank you to all our families who joined us at the Busch Stadium for our Primrose Night at the Ballpark!
To better meet the individual needs of every child, we’re proud to implement Ages & Stages Questionnaires® (ASQ®-3 and ASQ®:SE-2) in Primrose schools across the country.
Our new exclusive Harmony & Heart® program integrates our proprietary music and books in a variety of thoughtful ways each day. Through learning about music, while simultaneously being exposed to concepts in math, language, and character development, your child will grow as a musician, a student, and a person.
Each Primrose school is held to high standards of safety and cleanliness while maintaining a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
During our Caring & Giving Event our children raised 906 pounds of canned good and non-perishables! Our Pre-Kindergarten children completed chores at home to raise money. They went on an adventure to the grocery store to buy food to donate. The children helped deliver the food to the Circle of Concern Food Pantry right here in our own community. This hands-on learning experience will help us to remember the importance of giving back and helping others in our community. We are so proud of their hard work and our hearts are full to see their excitement in helping others!!
There’s no question that parents want their preschoolers to grasp the basics of colors, numbers and letters to foster a lifetime of learning.

It might seem odd to think about your preschooler exploring data analysis and algebra.
