Our teachers and caregivers are trained, ready and excited to help spark lightbulb moments for your child. We invite you to visit and see our Balanced Learning approach in action
Hello and thank you for inquiring about our school! We would love to get the opportunity to show you all the wonderful things that Primrose can offer your child and family! We know that firsthand, as we have now raised four children through the Primrose culture, and will continue the journey with our fourth child, Cotton. Our oldest son, Jaden, began at 20 months of age and our two daughters, Tylar and Beau and our son Cotton all began at 6 weeks old. Let us tell you our story:
We (Jared and Christy) met while attending Texas A&M University and were married in 2003. In 2007, we moved to the Fort Worth area where Jared got a job as a project manager for a general contracting firm, building public schools and Christy was hired as the Assistant Director at a Primrose School in Southlake. After a short time, Christy was promoted to the Director position at the school, which she maintained for the next 6 years. In the spring of 2014, we got the opportunity to purchase our own Primrose School and it became official in October of 2014 after a move to the Austin area. We have been here ever since and continue to love it more each and every day! Since then, we have been blessed to open two other locations in our market – one in Lakeway, and one in West Lake Hills.
Inside, you will find our culture to be a positive, engaging, and joyful one. It is an atmosphere of fun, educational, safe, and best of all, purposeful play. We pride ourselves in making sure that each child, family, staff member, and leadership team member has the same experience day in and day out. We are available any time to discuss anything going on in your lives or simply get to know you better. You will find us here almost every day and at all of our major events. Our Primrose family is an extension of our own family. We jokingly tell people around town that instead of having a fifth child, we had over 400 of them.
We are conveniently located on Aldrich St, right down the road from Blanton Elementary and five minutes from Maplewood Elementary School. Unlike an ordinary daycare in Austin, we provide your child with a robust early education and child care experience.

At Primrose, your child will get more than an infant daycare experience. Our teachers help your child develop and grow, building one skill upon another, which is why we are the leader in infant child care.
To better meet the individual needs of every child, we’re proud to implement Ages & Stages Questionnaires® (ASQ®-3 and ASQ®:SE-2) in Primrose schools across the country.
At Primrose Schools® Summer Adventure Club, learning meets fun through hands-on activities—like sports, robotics, and more—that encourage creativity, compassion and resourcefulness.
Our new exclusive Harmony & Heart® program integrates our proprietary music and books in a variety of thoughtful ways each day. Through learning about music, while simultaneously being exposed to concepts in math, language, and character development, your child will grow as a musician, a student, and a person.
Our year round program accepts kids ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. We have availability in most classrooms! Please call for more information!
Each Primrose school is held to high standards of safety and cleanliness while maintaining a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
90% of a child’s brain develops in the first five years.
There’s no question that parents want their preschoolers to grasp the basics of colors, numbers and letters to foster a lifetime of learning.
Now more than ever, it is important that we nurture young children to be accepting of those who are different than them.
It might seem odd to think about your preschooler exploring data analysis and algebra.
