Primrose School would love to meet your family.
Schedule A TourHi. My name is Berta. I am the director here at Primrose School of Arrowhead. I have over 35 years experience in the Early Childhood Education (ECE) field. I began my career working in classrooms and eventually became Director. I value my time spent in the classroom and consider it the most rewarding part during my ECE career. I attended Adams State College in Colorado for two years, majoring in Early Childhood Education. I finished my education here in Arizona, receiving my degree in ECE from Central Arizona College. I recently obtained my Directors Certificate.
During my early years as Director, I was blessed to have worked in a Christian school in Women's Ministry. I feel that I not only make a difference in the lives of the children, but in the lives of the teachers as well because of that experience.
My teaching philosophy is quite simple. I want to provide a safe, fun, stimulating educational environment for all children to help achieve their developmental milestones without pressure. I strive to work alongside parents and teachers as a team to provide a positive experience for children. Most importantly, I love and respect each child we are trusted to care for each day.
Hi! I'm Ms. Tanner! I have been working with children for several years and have 2 wonderful children of my own!
My name is Leslie Routhe. I’ve spend the last 25 years teaching young children of various ages. The toddler age group is the most rewarding for me.
My name is Candace Murillo. I am the lead teacher in Preschool 2. I graduated from high school in 1999 and started my career in childcare immediately afterward. I have been in the childcare field for nearly 18 years! I believe my calling in life is to help develop the young minds of today into the successful minds of tomorrow. In my 18 years of childcare, I have seen children grow in many ways! I absolutely love using education as a way to build a child's curiosity, logical thinking skills, and creativity. I am returning to college to continue working toward a bachelor's in Early Childhood Education. I look forward to working with children everyday because it is never the same as the day before. These children play a huge part in my life and I wouldn't have it any other way!
Welcome to the Primrose School of Arrowhead! We would like to introduce you to our franchise owners, Elizabeth and Mark Parrone. They have two children, Brandon and Alexandra. Brandon will be graduating from The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota this May and Alexandra is a junior at Northern Arizona University. Mark is a Certified Public Accountant with over 25 years of experience in various corporate finance positions. Elizabeth is a speech pathologist with 31 years of experience in a school setting. Both Elizabeth and Mark believe in giving children in their community the educational start they need to continue a lifelong love of learning. As the Parrone family researched the Primrose possibility, they realized that educational child care of this caliber did not exist when their children were younger. In 2005, the dream of owning their own school became a reality when the Parrone family, seeking balance in life and business, purchased a Primrose School franchise. The Parrones share the same vision— to make a difference in the lives of families and in the community in which they live and serve each day. They feel there is no better way to achieve this than with a Primrose School.
