I’m Erin Hylton, the School Director at the Primrose School of Arlington. A native from Monmouth County, New Jersey, I’ve lived in the Northern Virginia area for the last eight years. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Westminster Choir College, NJ and a Master’s Degree in School Counseling from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. The last eight years I have been teaching General Music and Chorus to students Pre-K through 6th Grade in Fairfax County Public Schools. I've been at the Primrose School of Arlington since February 2021, and love the brand, mission, and all that it stands for. In my spare time I love reading, hiking, crossword puzzles and watching baseball (go Yanks!) Our school promotes curiosity, confidence, creativity and compassion; traits that I think are key to academic, social and emotional success. I very much value character education and I believe in helping to develop little humans that don’t just have strong minds, but strong hearts and souls as well.

My name is Teon Jakley, and I am the Assistant Director at the Primrose of Arlington. I am originally from New York City and moved to the Northern Virginia area a few years ago. I have my CDA and currently pursuing my undergraduate and post graduate degree in Education and Educational leadership. I have worked in the early childcare industry in various capacities for over fifteen years. I am excited to be a part of the Primrose family and I strongly believe that early childhood education lays the groundwork for children’s lifelong learning. Primrose mission: To forge a path that leads to a brighter future for all children, is a mission I strongly agree with. I have a firm belief that every child should have the opportunity to receive quality education. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, playing my guitar and spending time with my family.

My name is Reagan Carey and I’m excited to join the leadership team at the Primrose School of Arlington in the role as Marketing & Office Support. I have a degree in Communications from Indiana University but am local to Virginia! I have a passion for children and enjoy being part of their learning journey. My professional experience has been with event planning, media marketing, and marketing strategies. I can’t wait to bring creative programing to life for the students of our school!

Ms. Flores has been working with children for the past two years. Her favorite part about working with kids, is being able to see them each individually learn and grow. In her spare time, Ms. Flores enjoys listening to music or reading a good book.

Ms. Smith joins Primrose with 7 years of working in childcare. Her favorite part about workingin the industry, is that kids teach her as much as she can teach them. In her spare time, Ms. Smith enjoys going on hikes with her dog and watching Netflix.
Ms. Tabata has been working in the childcare industry for the past 5 years. Her favorite part about working with children is that they are in a constant state of curiosity and exploration. When she is not working, Ms. Tabata enjoys dancing, swimming & reading.
Ms. Lenard comes to Primrose with over 6 years of experience working in the industry. Her favorite part about working with children is being able to hear their stories and getting to know them. In her free time, Ms. Lenard enjoys hiking, coloring and exploring new places!
Ms. Paige has been working in the childcare industry for the past 7 years. Her favorite part about working with children is the positive impact that children have in both her community and theirs. When she is not at work, you can find Ms. Paige doing crafts, listening to music or reading.
Ms. Corrales has been working with children for over ten years. She loves the childcare profession because ever day is something new and fun. In her spare time, she likes to read, go hiking and picnicking. Ms. Corrales is currently pursuing her CDA certification.

Ms. Mullins has been working in the childcare industry for over 5 years. Ms. Trejo-Salamanca has been working in childcare for the past two years. She has an incredible passion for working with children as she enjoys getting to see them learn and grow. In her spare time, she loves to spend time listening to music and being with family.

Ms. Moore has been working in the childcare profession for the past 3 years. What she most enjoys about working with children is watching them learn new skills while at the same time develop previous ones. When she is not at work, Ms. Moore loves to work out, go hiking and shopping!

Ms. Rodriguez has been working in the childcare industry for the past 7 years. Her favorite part about working with children is being able to help them grow into wonderful people. In her spare time, Ms. Rodriguez enjoys reading.
Ms. Blanco has been working in the childcare industry for the past 5 years. Her favorite part about working with children is just that! She enjoys spending time with her students, teaching them, and seeing them smiles. In her spare time Ms. Blanco enjoys listening to music and being outdoors.
Ms. Negash has been working in childcare for 9 years in the infant and toddler classrooms. She loves teaching children in a positive way and helping them develop and grow to become leaders. When she isn’t at the school, you can find her in the gym or outside exercising. She is a health nut!

Ms. Wright has been working in the childcare industry for the past 5 years. She loves to see them grow and having the privilege to be the reason that they smile through out the day. When she is not at work, Ms. Wright enjoys to spend her free time cooking.

Ms. Peña has been working and volunteering with children for many years at church, Key Elementary school and babysitting. She loves seeing the children’s personality develop and especially likes watching them grow. She likes to spend her free time skateboarding.

Ms. Combs comes to Primrose with over 10 years of experience working in the industry. Her favorite part about working with children is seeing them smile, teaching them new things, and getting to see them try new things on their own. When she is not at work, Ms. Combs enjoys outdoor activities and arts and crafts.
Childcare Experience: Ms. Dyson has been working in early childcare for over 10 years. She has spent time across large national brands as well as local childcare centers. She has experience across all aspects of infant care and is excited to be part of your little one’s educational journey.
Education: Ms. Dyson has maintained her CDA and 90 hour childcare certification.

Ms. Sherlock is a recent graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in political science. She has been working with children for the past ten years. She enjoys seeing young children's’ minds grow and can relate to their joy of life. Some of her hobbies include photography and skateboarding.

Ms. Jean Paul is a Mother of 6. She is coming to Primrose with over three years of professionally working in the childcare industry. Her favorite part about working with children, is guiding them. She enjoys being able to see them explore and learn in different ways. When she is not at work, you can find Ms. Jean-Paul cooking in the kitchen or working out.
Ms. Jones comes to us with over 20 years of experience working with children. Her favorite part about being in the industry is watching their responses when they have attained their goals and achievements. When she is not working, Ms. Jones enjoys reading and listening to music.
Ms. Escobar comes to Primrose of Arlington with 5 years of experience in early childhood education. She has worked with all age groups and is ready to help the future of this country grow.

Ms. Zambarino is very excited to be working in childcare. Her favorite part about working with children is seeing the world from their point of view; a fun, exciting and positive place! When she is not at work, Ms. Zambarino enjoys going on runs, singing and cooking.
Ms. Palmer comes to Primrose with a huge passion for working with children. What she enjoys the most about being in the industry is seeing the joy in their accomplishments. In her down time, Ms. Palmer enjoys reading and playing video games.
Ms. Feddaoui comes to Primrose with two years of experience in the industry. Her favorite part about working with children is being able to witness their growth and development. She truly enjoys being able to teach them something new. In her free time, you can find Ms. Feddaoui sewing and crafting.
Ms. Sesay has been working in the childcare profession for two years. Her favorite part about working in the industry is, having the opportunity to help children grow and seeing their fundamental skills flourish. When she is not working, Ms. Sesay loves to travel and explore new foods.

Ms. Montgomery is very passionate about working in childcare. She loves being able to help her students excel. She loves helping them make connections and being apart of their ‘breakthrough’ moments.
